Cat Footwear Men's Threshold Waterproof Soft Toe Work Boot

The work boots were a gift for my husband for Christmas. Although a bit pricey, he liked them and they fit him well. He has not worn them yet, as our winter weather in northwest Ohio has not been very harsh, but the Farmer's Almanac is predicting a very cold and snowy winter for 2023-24. If that happens, he will make good use of them inasmuch as they are waterproof.

I wear a very large plastic leg brace on my left foot/leg and now have to buy all new shoes since the surgeon said that's all she wrote. So now I have to buy shoes a size larger and wider. I need shoes that the laces start way down near the toe so I can pull out the tongue to fit this foot/leg brace in. The tongue is gusseted but does allow me to pull it out far enough to fit. I was pretty relieved.I haven't worn these outside yet but they do allow me to wear the leg brace with the boot. I just walked around the house with them. I will use these in colder months and when I have to clear snow. I normally wear a size 10D but with the leg brace it's 11W. My right foot isn't sloshing around too much and I figure with bulky socks it should also be ok.

I needed a show for my husband case he recently stubbed his toe. This shoe is very good quality for when he is working on those construction sites

I’m going to cut to the chase. Boots lasted me 8 months but in those 8 months they were excellent until the seam suddenly broke on the right side of the right boot. Could be a one off thing but never the less they prematurely failed IMO. ordered a new pair and hopefully I don’t get the same results.These boots I found to be very comfortable paired with “Dr. Scholl's with Massaging Gel Men's Work All-Day Superior Comfort Insoles.” Since I’m flat footed like a duck these work wonders on anyone who can’t stand on their feet for an hour. I would wear these boots for 10+ hours a day so comfort is a must have. Also double sock with ankle socks and long pair of socks makes it even more comfortable especially for your toes so they don’t rub against the walls. It’s how I counter the blisters despite getting wide toe option.

The boot looks decent for the price I am paying. The black rubber that covers the front of the shoes does not look like they glued well from the sides of the shoes straight out of the box. Not sure how long this will last. Time will tell. The size is bigger than normal size. If you wear Nike shoes, you might want to consider 1/2 size smaller than your Nike shoes. I hate to return it so I will keep it as work boot but take off 1 star for not having a true fit and the bad feeling of the rubber glue on the sides.

My shoes came very quickly and I wear them all the time. Even when not at work. I wear them out on the weekend to places.

Almost perfect shoe, but the slip resistant sole is not that good compared other shoes I have owned.

Good solid boot , I've been wearing timberland for 20 yrs these are just as comfortable and the $ ypu can't beat it
