Totally beautiful and exactly what I was looking for. Very well made too!

The bread box is made of cherry wood. The finish highlights the natural grain of the wood. The roll top opens and closes with ease. The drawer provides storage for small items.

It's beautiful but the back of the box is not sitting flush on the base. Leaving a gap all the way across the back side. Disappointed for the amount of money it cost.

Update: they swapped out the one with the misaligned handles and sent us a new one free of charge. It’s perfect and we love it. Thank you!!!! It really is beautiful but given the money I did expect the knobs to be centered. Neither knob is centered, and they don’t line up with each other. A little disappointed

This Amish Roll Top Bread Box is hands down, unquestionably, no doubt about it - the absolute finest breadbox I've ever owned. It's quality is visibly impeccable, and heavier than I expected. Pricey, but worth every penny. This is the last bread box I'll ever own, and one that I'll eventually hand down to my children. And kudos to whomever packaged it for shipment - thank you! A truck could have driven over the box in which this bread box was very well packaged and protected. It would have left the truck with a flat tire.

This is definitely worth the extra cost. It was packed so securely and you could tell immediately that everything is done with extreme care. Should last forever and it's beautiful on my kitchen counter. I won other Amish made items and have them for many years. It's nice to see the pride in one's workmanship.

It's absolutely beautiful but the small crack on the back is very upsetting considering how much this item is. The packaging it very good.. I honestly think it happened in production?
