I bought this to use as a splint for a 'trigger finger' to prevent further damage to the finger joint and associated tendon which has apparently developed "a knot". I have small hands and this is the size 4, it is a bit snug but fits. I will wear the size 5 in case the finger swells. The 6 fit but was a little loose but likely not loose enough to fall off. I don't know how it will last as I bang around the house doing chores, but it feels sturdy enough to probably be fine. You cannot bend these. I found good exercises for this condition on You Tube so I hope using this and doing those on a regular basis makes this go away. Nary a clue how I got it.

My thumb has been locking up (double jointed) and this splint helps keep my finger in the proper position. Feeling less pain. I’m hoping I don’t have to wear it much longer, but I mostly don’t feel it.

These work well to guard against trigger finger. Size assortment is satisfactory but I would recommend purchasing the expanded set that also comes with the sleeves. The dwnside of using just the splint is that they can slide off.

this keeps thumb from bending so there is no pain but, out of 5 of the "splints" only 2 will work because most are are too big. suggest changing instructions for measuring. we measured the finger that had pain. one fits well, 3 are too big and one is slightly too small. I dislike throwing something away that hasn't been used so it's imperfect, though one did work it fell off soon after we got it and its either lost in the house or the dog ate it!

These are cheap, hard plastic, with sharp edges. They are far too long for smaller hands, and sit at a very uncomfortable spot. Because the edges flare out instead of sitting flush with your finger, it’s impossible to grasp anything. Driving to the ups store to drop these off as a return is a total waste. They are worth less than the shipping cost
