You won't find another brand to match how the hook goes in like butter. Funny how the other companies can't duplicate. I've been buying these individually as needed - I should have bought the whole set to begin with. The pink handle is 5 1/4-inch long so if you hold it like a knife and have hands bigger than a woman's size medium, you might want to buy just one to ensure it's a good fit. The only down side, if you can call it that, the hook is so smooth & easy I crochet longer than I intend which aggravates my mild tendinitis.

I’m new to crochet and bought a set of regular hooks with different sizes thinking that was enough. Yes, they were okay until I tried this brand, I never knew a quality hook could make such a big difference.It’s well made and sturdy, comfortable to hold, and glides through yarn sooooo smoothly, like butter, while my other hooks sometimes get too tight or even stuck. It makes crochet so much easier and fun. I’m obsessed now and will buy more sizes as needed. Highly recommend!

My favorite hooks! I will never use anything else. Tulip hooks glide through yarn like butter and feel so soft in your hand. Occasionally I lose one from my set so I have to buy replacements. Get ALL the sizes!

This is my most favorite hook! It’s comfortable to hold, it’s small frame fits perfectly in my hand and it’s beautiful! I love the soft pink color and the hook glides through yarn easily! I’m able to crochet quickly! I enjoy the sharp, tapered head. Even stitches every time!

I’ve tried multiple brands of hooks and I’ve found Tulip to be my favorite. Great quality and fits easy in my hand. The highest selling point for me would be how smooth it crochets. All types of yarn slide very well with this hook. I know they’re a bit more expensive but I’ve purchased sets of off brands that start out great but loose the smoothness over time. Tulip is the only hooks I but now.

Based on the reviews I thought these hooks were going to be the best thing ever. Not so much. I don't like them. It's a personal preference though, nothing to do with the actual manufacturing of the hook itself. I just prefer clover hooks over these. These aren't any different than the cheaper hooks in my opinion. So I don't like the idea of spending so much on an otherwise "cheap" hook. They were comfortable to hold though.
