$400 and some sweat = $1500 appearance
were the tolerances perfect? no. was the finish spotless? no. did i spend a lot of time cutting and drilling and realigning? yes. is this the best deal for a bumper in this style? 100%. in just a couple hours i managed to get her fully installed on my 08 4runner, gap fill with rubber insulation, along with a couple other fitment tricks. if you're putting this on a taco then i'm sure it will go a lot smoother, but for the quality and price? 10/10. she looks great even at stock ride height and tire size. would buy again.

Great for the money on a 4th gen 4runner! Pretty easy install.
Mounted the winch bumper up to my 2003 V8 4runner and paired it with a Vevor synthetic rope winch. The install was pretty straight forward if you pay attention to the instructions. I’d also suggest watching the YouTube video from Dillan’s Garage. As already mentioned, the Tacoma has 3 mounting points and the 4runner has 4 so you have to drill another hole in each side of the mounting plate. The bumper holes were slightly off so I had to widen them with a step bit…nothing huge but it wasn’t going to mount onto the horn studs without modification (misalignment shown in photo). I mounted up AuxBeam 4 inch JK fog/turn halos. Waiting in adapters before I wire them up. Thus far, I’m happy with the mounting and solidity of the bumper. For the cost, you can’t beat it for a 4th gen 4runner. I do offroad, but I don’t spend all my paychecks on mods and I don’t get too crazy because I also tow a travel trailer on and offroad. The winch is mainly for light use so I don’t feel like I need a combined $5k bumper/winch setup. Btw, I’m pushing 50 yrs old, 5’2, 140 lbs. I am mechanically inclined. I assembled and installed the bumper myself. I did get a second pair of hands when I took the bumper off and mounted the winch in order to lift it onto the horn studs a little faster.

Overall a nice looking bumper, but not for off-roading use
I've had this bumper for a few months now, and overall it looks good and is decent quality for the price. The winch plate is bent from winching off it (10k lb winch), so I don't recommend using this for off-road recovery, but for $500 you probably shouldn't expect to be able to.

nice bumper
Really like how this looks on my truck. No problems with condition due to shipping. Only reason for 4 stars because of not great instructions. I had better luck looking up install videos on YouTube. Also I already banged my knee on front tow hooks. Take some getting used to I guess. Bumper is heavy but truck seems to ride better with it. Verdict still out on gas mileage effect.

She's a brick house
I was hesitant buying an imported kit bumper, and had my doubts about the structural integrity under any actual load. Those doubts were put to rest when some tweaker cut me off and i couldn't hit the brakes quick enough. Destroyed their ride, only minor scuffs to my bumper. 10/10 for the price

Fits 4th gen 4Runner with modifications
I installed this on my 4th gen 4Runner 4wd and it fit perfectly with 2 small modification. You need to dill 1 hole on each frame bracket because the Tacoma brackets have 3 bolts and the 4Runner has 4 bolts. Everything else just lines up with no issues. I will update if I have any issues.

Cheap is cheap
I knew I was buying a cheap bumper but come on. 25$ in new nuts and bolts from the hardware later and I got fog lights. Pre assembled very very loosely. 3 stars for price and availability. Chinesium
