I use this on my fire department radio strap. This is a replacement for my first one. I had overtightened down the screws which stressed the plastic causing it to crack. Not a product issue but a Mongo issue since I overtightened down the screws. Mongo, from the movie Blazing Saddles, is a term we use in our fire department for over tightening. So don't Mongo the screws when attaching to your radio strap and this will work great for you.

Outstanding mount for the Guardian Angel. This is SEMI-permanent, in that it screws-on, rather than just clip. It almost fits the epaulettes on our department rain jackets. I do wish the would make one a half an inch longer, to fit wider straps.
