I used this serum every year to help lessen the hair loss from "spring shed". My hair goes through a pretty dramatic shed between May and August. I first used the Act+Acre apple stem cell serum 3 years ago when my hair began falling out at a rate of around 300 strands a day. Within a 2 weeks of beginning the treatment the daily shed went from 300 to 50 hairs, then eventually to only a few strands in my hairbrush and in the shower drain. I pair the serum with the Act+Acre weekly scalp treatment, which helps unclog the hair follicles. I want to state that my shed is telogen effluvium (temporary and reversible), and not androgenic, so I don't know how the product would work on people experiencing male pattern baldness.

This is my second time buying this product, and I’ve really liked it so far. I originally got it to help with my dry, flaky, and easily irritated scalp, and also in hopes of making my thin hair stronger and fuller since I deal with a lot of breakage and hair fall.After finishing my first bottle, I’ve noticed a big difference in how hydrated and healthy my scalp feels. My hair feels better overall too — I used to always keep it in a ponytail, but now I actually feel good wearing it down and styling it more.In terms of thickness, my hair is still pretty thin and I still get some breakage, so I haven’t seen a big change there yet. But I like how it’s working so far, so I’ll keep using it and update if I see more progress.Overall, it’s been great for moisture and scalp health — hoping it helps more with hair strength over time!

This product is great. A little pricey but worth every penny.

So I’ll start by saying the areas of balding I deal with are typical (top of my head, hairline) for many man, and likely too thinned out/bald for any product to materially help, no matter how effective it is. That just means having realistic expectations of anything. I did not expect to look like I did 20 years ago up there!That said, I think this has been a positive for me after a month of use. I don’t really notice, but my wife thinks the areas on top of my head look less bald. I wish I took before-and-after photos, but she may be right. Again, it’s just that an area that’s about 4” in diameter with a few strands in it will still look basically bald even with two or three times the hair.What I have definitely noticed is that the areas with hair seem to be growing a bit faster, but also darker. I’ve been salt-and-pepper up top for a while now, leaning more and more toward salt, but my hair does look blacker than it was. That could be a function of it just being healthier and with better hydration (which is noticeable – it’s not as brittle and dry feeling, yet not oily), so maybe it isn’t actually less gray, but it certainly looks less gray.The product isn’t cheap, for sure. Subscribe & Save helps. But, also, it lasts a while. I found that one pipette-worth works well for me (since I’m not losing much into the hair, allowing the product to really get to my scalp), so that could be why, but I’m about 40% of the way through the bottle after a month.Also, I used Rogaine way back in the day, and it didn’t work for me, but did cause lots of dandruff. Lots. This has had zero negative effects. It’s easy to apply, doesn’t smell weird, doesn’t cause flaking for me, etc. And I don’t worry that I’ve got some weird chemical on my skin, and can just rinse it off with soap and water easily.Overall, I’m positive on this. I wish it did work miracles, but for reasonable expectations, I’d say it’s a good thing.

I'm sure my title may confuse you, however I will go into as much detail as I possibly can. Is this a great product? Yes, in every way it is. It definitely does what it says it does. Thicker fuller hair, excellent scalp hydration, no scent, no shine, and it really makes your hair healthy.I can say that it did indeed do all of those things for me, it also created some new hair growth. Now, the but!But!This all depends on how healthy not only you are, but how healthy your water is! What do I mean?Well, this started working for me as I was having more hair loss due to excessive dry scalp. Now, at first it worked and then all of a sudden I no longer felt it working, I stopped seeing the improvements that I was getting at first.Before I blamed the product, I had to see if I were doing something wrong! It definitely isn't this product.Winter came! Which means I was constantly in heat, and what happens when you are constantly in heat? Dehydration! Then I realized that where my home is, the water is hard which was further drying out my scalp!With just that, it rendered this product useless. Because this product will not work while your body is dehydrated, or if you're showering with hard water.So what did I do?I immediately started drinking lots of water to rehydrate, and I bought a filter for my showerhead, and that helped so much, my scalp was back to normal again. I started reusing this product and my hair is back to being fuller, less breakage....Hopefully this helps you....
