Very cute bike and great value. Build quality, style, fit and finish are great.
Out of the box- Build quality seems excellent. Style and fit and finish are great. Everything went together fine. All hardware was included but could get confusing if you have never assembled a bike. The basket was a bit of a challenge with the front reflector, but it worked out OK. The doll seat mounts to the seat pole, so you have to raise the seat up quite a bit to install it. I had to go back and raise the handlebars to match the seat height. The instructions are a little vague, with NO fender instructions. Plan to look at the Amazon photos, especially on the reflectors, fenders, and doll seat, it will make your life much easier. Front brakes on bicycles are never easy to adjust quickly, it takes time and patience. Once dialed in, they worked fine. Overall, the bike appears to be no different than larger brand names, and it's as cute as can be. We'll see how it operates tomorrow, but I don't expect any issues.

It’s very cute and had good quality. But…
Super cute and sturdy. Super hard to put it together. Instructions are not complete.

Super Cute!
It is really cute. I love the basket and the baby doll seat, my 4 year old daughter takes her baby every bike ride now and always asks, "How's baby doing back there?" Just a couple issues; there's little end piece on the hand-brake wire came off right away and so it is all frayed now and I still haven't been able to get the hand-brake right so she just doesn't use it for now. Also in the beginning her wheel kept slipping, but I adjusted her training wheels up a little and that seemed to do the trick. It was kind of hard for me to put together, but nothing more than expected if you're handy. That's pretty much it, my daughter LOVES it. Oh, and I actually purchased the 12 inch for my daughter's 4th birthday, and it was definitely too small so I got the 14 inch and it is just almost too big which is fine because it'll be perfect very soon and she can ride it just fine. She is about 33-34lbs and 3'3" if that helps anybody. All in all great bike, good price. 👍

Heavy and beautiful
An absolutely adorable, barely rideable contraption, this little bike got me my daughter's adoration Christmas morning. The basket, baby seat, color and streamers were worthy of excited shriek of joy. That said, the situation of the bike is....not great. The wheels have so much runout that I never even tried to true the wheel, and the brakes are consequently misaligned so badly that there's no way to get consistent pad contact on the rim. It scarcely matters, though: the bike is so blasted heavy that my daughter isn't going to struggle to pedal anywhere that gains elevation, so there can't be any downhills on the other side, plus it has a coaster brake in the rear hub. This thing seriously weighs as much or more than my own extra large frame pedal bike. Perhaps that means it will be indestructible, but it's disappointing because my daughter is SOOOO excited to ride it, but it's a heavy son of a gun. Also, the seat seems to be off an adult sized bike and has spring supports in it; total overkill for a 3-4 year old. Nevertheless, they didn't skimp any on the pig iron that went into the frame of this thing, something I was reminded of while trying to wrangle it during assembly. It's not going to break, that's for sure, and the weld quality, paint thickness and coverage, and chrome plate all seemed surprisingly good. The colors, I'm told, at least by my 3 year old, are "perfect, pink, and pretty," so they hit the bullseye in that respect. The chain is the only moving part other than the brakes which make noise, and its surprisingly quiet.

Be Prepared to make adjustments!
The overall quality of the JOYSTAR Little Daisy Kids bike and the components is good. I feel like it is well worth the money. The instructions regarding the actual chassis assembly are straightforward and easy to follow but do not include attaching any of the accessories which would seemingly be simple, but without instruction my wife and teenage son had difficulty discerning which hardware was for each component. All things considered they did a fantastic job! We gifted the bike to our young daughter for her birthday and although she had previously become proficient at peddling a bike she seemed to be struggling while trying to take her first ride. After seeing her struggling, I turned the bike over to check everything and found the crank incredibly difficult to turn and binding in certain places that required extra force to rotate through. I had to release the locking nut and decompress the crank bearings in order to get the crank assembly to start rotating properly. Once the crank assembly binding was corrected I proceeded by test peddling the bike again and found that it was still difficult. I removed the rear tire and found that it wouldn't rotate freely either and required excessive input to rotate. Suspecting the braking mechanism I loosened the adjustment and securing hardware and saw improvement but there was still an issue. The rear axle bearings ended up being over compressed as well. I was able to uncompress and adjust them to get the rear axle rotating freely as well. After checking and making the adjustments my daughter is able to easily pedal and ride the bike that she was so excited to receive! In summation, the component's are good for the price but improper assembly and poor quality assurance forced me to disassemble and make adjustments on items that should be ready to use.
