I don't think I have ever wore such comfy boots! Would definitely recommend these to anybody who is looking for a pair of winter boots. Sizing. They are big. I'm a UK size 11, but on reading many reviews, I bought a UK size 10.5 and they fit perfectly. I think my normal size would be too big. I wore normal sport socks if this helps because lots of reviews are saying that the socks play a part in whether they fit properly. They are wide but with boots in general that's expected. Warmth. They are incredibly warm. I was worried they would be warm to the point where I'd have sweaty feet but this is not the case. They are warm, and cosy warm. Very comfortable. Obviously, at the time of writing, the temperature is currently 4 degrees Celsius. So, if it they were going to make my feet sweat, now would be the time. Weight. They are quite heavy. I don't think many people will be able to wear these because they really are quite hefty. They're for wintry snow covered ground so they need to be durable. I myself, wear safety footwear and heavy boots at work, so for me the weight is not an issue. If you're not accustomed to safety footwear, you may see the weight of these as an issue. Quality. Full Grain Leather uppers. Rubber sole with more than decent traction. Felt liner that can be removed if you want to air them out. Easy to slip on and off. All in all, a very good shoe.

Really like these boots. I was looking for something warmer for daily dog walks on a variety of surfaces and terrain and these looked ideal. I noted folks comments about sizing but bought my normal size 9. They do feel slightly big for a 9 but not sure I could go down to an 8. I added an insole under the liner boot and with thick socks that is perfect. Plenty of room for toes and now just right. The insole may help as both the inside and the inner boot are flat. Very comfy. Had a walk of about three hours and my feet were comfortable and warm but not sweating or over hot. In terms of waterproofing, possibly not the most severe test but plenty of mud, puddles and long grass and feet bone dry. I quite like the look of them and some trousers go over them and tighter legs may need to go inside but not a problem. I ordered on Saturday and did not pay for one day delivery but they arrived on the Sunday anyway, so that was impressive too. If they are reasonably long lasting these are a winner and I look forward to warm dry feet all winter.

Wore these boots in -35c al day for 2 weeks with one pair of socks and never had cold feet. Waterproof all day in snow and very comfortable. As l got them on an offer for £74 this is truly good value for money. Excellent quality .

These are sized for thick socks and to have a little room inside. With thin socks they might feel a little big but then they're not really boots for wearing with thin socks so, yeah whatever - I ordered 10.5 which is my size and didn't feel the need to send them back. They are warm boots. I use them for fishing on the beach and although I've not had them on in sub zero temps my feet were fine after a few hours at 2 Celsius. They're quality shoes with good materials and manufacturing. They are a bit chunkier than I expected but I'm not wearing them as a fashion statement so that's fine.

These boots are a classic and for good reason. I have worn them in heavy snow in Finnish Lapland (north of the Arctic Circle) in December and they kept my feet warm, dry and comfortable. Everyone else in our activities had to exchange their boots for those provided by the activity company but I was allowed to keep these on due to their great quality.

Look well made and sturdy and fit for purpose.They have good grips on the soles. Not too heavy and they're comfortable to wear with no irritating seams in the liner. The boot lining is easy enough to take out, but does not slip around when you're wearing the boot. Fits as expected I am a UK 8 so ordered a UK 8 and it fits fine - no need for thick socks yet , but maybe needed as and when the heavy felt liner gets more squashed / compacted with prolonged wear. I have tested them in cool conditions, but not below freezing yet. My feet did not sweat nor feel uncomfortably hot in the boots in the above freezing conditions - which was good. The boots are rated to -40C - not expecting to test them to that limit but certainly use them in well below freezing conditions later this winter. I expect they'll do the job. Easy to get on and off. The stretch in the laces works well and they're not a faff to lace up either depsite being high boots.

I thought Sorel was a good quality brand but these boots only lasted 15 months before the uppers split.

Very comfortable boots. As I bought them at the end of the winter I have yet to use them in the snow but I wore them for early season evening sailing races on very cold nights. They were great! I can cycle in them as well! 2020, having spent 6 weeks based in Le Raffort, below Meribel, my review of last season can be expanded to confirm that these boots are excellent in powder snow, packed snow, slush and water; not so good as my elderly Moon Boots were on ice but they have fallen apart. These are robust, easy to put on, the laces can be loosely tied, and easy to take off. They are warm but not sweaty. Very pleased with my purchase.

Great Boots and Great Price!

I've never had "good boots" before, but as my winter job this year is working on a ski hill, I went for it and splurged on myself. I'm so happy with the fit, feel and warmth even after nine hours working the hill. I don't think I can ever go back to "cheap" boots! 😂 I highly recommend this product!
