Great strong wire cutters, will cut through anything easy, yeah they are more expensive but with this brand you do get quality. Nice rubber grips. Kinda wish the were spring loaded but most arnt. Really like them, not had a job yet they wont cut through.

Some blue tempered springs are too hard. If you were to use them all day long for cutting mattress springs, they wiould dull, but for everything else they are ideal. They cut most wire with ease and are small enough to fit in a pocket. Unless you abuse them, they will last a lifetime.

Having bought “bolt cutters” from Homebase which were barely better than nail scissors, bought these to see if they’d do the job any better (was trying to reduce the height of a wire fence). These sliced through the fencing easily - great product.

Bought to snip some thick tensile fence wire, which my fencing pliers were struggling with. It still took a bit of a squeeze. But these Knipex cutters made the job a lot easier. Since then I've used them to cut trellis wire, barbed wire and I also find them really useful for cutting the 3mm strimmer wire I use in my strimmer. They go through those last two like snipping thread with a pair of scissors. It almost feels like cheating. I'm not giving the full 5 stars yet as I've not had them long enough to see if they justify the eye-watering Knipex price tag. But I'm hoping they'll live up to their reputation, on that front.

I bought these cutters for Bonsai purposes – cutting wire for styling and tying down trees. This goes through 6mm aluminium without any trouble. Lower gauges are a joke, it feels almost unfair. Since ordering I'd actually realised that one of America's top Bonsai professionals also uses this exact model. Great value all things considered – cheaper than Japanese made cutters and more than twice as good (I'd imagine) as other mini bolt cutters on amazon that are half the price. Feel like they will last a lifetime.

I needed these cutters to get rid of some barbed wire my neighbors had put on our fence. Worked a treat.

I have a lot of barbed wire about in my field and needed something small that I could fit in a pocket but that is sturdy enough to cut 2 strand barbed wire, this does that and is very easy to use.

Used rarely, but absolute quality and will be a set that outlasts me.

This has to be the best hand tool I've ever owned. Beautifully designed to allow cutting 6mm bolts, wire rope etc., with one hand! Even powered through stainless steel with ease, and no damage to the cutting blades at all. Very worth the price.

Se il chiodo, lucchetto, rivetto, o quant'altro è minore o uguale a 3.5mm taglia con enorme facilità anche l'acciaio duro, ed anche con una sola mano. A 4 mm cominciano i problemi: ci vogliono tutte e due le mani, e si riesce ancora a tagliare tutto tranne l'acciaio più duro. A 4.5 mm l'acciaio non lo taglia proprio più! A 5 mm il pezzo tende a sgusciare via: quindi in definitiva la descrizione "fino a 5.2 mm" è ingannevole. Ma l'utilità fino a 3.5/4 mm è tale che l'attrezzo merita comunque 5 stelle.
