This is perfect for my application with my smart keyboard. I was using a case that had a pencil holder but after 4 years the case wore out. Finding a new case that accommodated my smart keyboard proved impossible. This pencil holder keeps my pencil perfectly in place and charging exactly as it would with direct connection. I followed the video installation instructions and it works better and has great adhesion to my smart keyboard. Thank you! Update, after about a year it is still holding my pencil perfectly and it charges without any issues! I use the pencil multiple times per day taking it in and out of the holder without issue.

This one works well with my iPad Pro 11” and gen 2 pencil. I like the design it is one of those “why didn’t I think of it” ideas. It takes a little be of adjustment to find the sweet spot and angle to align the pencil and the charging spot. But it is worth it to have the peace of mind that the pencil will always with you.

Quality product and easy to install. Holds the pencil safely and snug but still slides out easy.

It works sufficiently enough . . . But sometimes the pen will not charge while in the sleeve. I simply take it out and attach in the traditional method. It is great in stopping the pencil from accidentally falling off. The item is a lot of money for what it is. Should be $6-$8 USD at most.

I’ve had this pen holder for about 3 weeks and it works perfectly! Don’t let the bad reviews influence you otherwise; it’s mostly user-error. I have a Logitech combo touch case for my iPad air, which doesn’t come with a pen holder (I have the apple pen 2nd generation). This pen holder surprisingly sticks very well to the fabric-like material of my case. Once you attach it, I would press and hold it in place for at least a minute to ensure it stays on. My pen is able to charge perfectly, however, the placement of the flat side of the pen in the loop holder is VERY important in order for it to charge. You have to play around with the angle/positioning of the flat side of the pen BEFORE committing to sticking it on your case AND each time you place your pen back in the holder. That’s the only annoying thing, but once you’re used to how the angle should be, it’s smooth sailing from there!

I love this product. Coincidentally, it matched my smart iPad case perfectly! It was easy to apply to my case, and looks aesthetically pleasing! It allows me to keep my Apple Pencil 1st Gen with my iPad at all times. One thing I will say is that the sleeve for the pencil is snug, so my Apple pencil cap comes off and gets stuck when trying to slide it through, and since I have a grip on it, I can only slide it out one way. But honestly, that doesn’t bother me. I just take off the cap before sliding it out and problem’s solved. Definitely still worth it to me.

I was excited to get this item as I have tried many things to keep from losing my Apple pencil. I followed the instructions for cleaning and drying my iPad case, and then carefully attached the pencil holder as directed in the video. All was looking well, until it wasn't. Within 2 days of attaching this to my iPad case, the sticky was apparently not sticky enough, and it came off. I have switched back to a different holder that, fortunately, I did not throw away when I ordered this.
