Only the opening of this book has been read, but it is already very enticing and looking to be a good, informative read. This book is very good for those who are interested in the progression, and possible future of the material, Graphene, but is also just as good for traditional chemistry/physics enthusiasts in general who have an interest in cutting edge technologies!

Came ahead of schedule and seems very interesting so far if you are interested in graphene. There was no problems with the delivery either.

There is no doubt that the Author knows how to write a good story. This book is entertaining. In a work of fiction, the writer teases the reader into reading on to find out what happens to the protagonist, through trials and tribulations. In this book there are occasions when the seeker of information is teased by the promise of it for pages until the writer has spun out the story. He gets there in the end but on the way I found myself saying "get to the point, man" once or twice under my breath. For this reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5. The alternative would probably be quite dry and more purely factual, aimed perhaps only at the materials scientist, and this would be a more difficult read.

Fast delivery and good read.

Well written in depth explanation of the world of graphene, its possible applications and future. A suggested reading to get a clear idea of this material and its history and purpose.

I have been personally excited and obsessed with graphene and other parts of material science since my brother attended his physics degree many years ago. At that time, graphene was still relatively new and I spent many evenings talking with him about what the material could be two different industries in all the potential of it. This book was like revisiting those days of sitting up in our living room as young college students just talking about ideas about a wonderful subject and a fascinating material and it's possibilities to change the world. The book is written in a way to be incredibly approachable for someone who is not deep into sciences still and has not taken a science class for quite a long time, but it also does not shy away from explaining concepts to ensure that the reader understands the entire scope of why this is such a fascinating material. This book is fascinating and I cannot wait to see follow-up books from the same authors.

This book was very informative, was indeed more than what I was expecting, clearly now it's not the time yet but graphene will revolutionize our world.

Un livre triste dans son contenu et dans sa mise en forme. Peu d'interêt. Quelques infos intéressantes mais pas assez d'exemples concrets ni photo. Déçu !
