I’ve had neck problems for all of my adult life (now aged 42), and see a chiropractor and get deep tissue/myofascial release massage regularly. I have a joint hypermobility and connective tissue disorder and putting neck issues down to tight muscles, but over the past couple of years I’ve developed unbearable occipital neuralgia and that’s led me to realise I have craniocervical instability which is pinching nerves. It doesn’t happen when I’m not working, only when I’m in a fixed position for too long, and I thought I’d experiment with a brace after finding that playing piano (with good posture) gives me some relief. This collar isn’t a substitute for treatment and physio but it prevents me from suffering the pain and fatigue I get when working a desk job, which tends to be resistant to any painkillers etc. I already use a support pillow at night but still often get overnight headaches and pins and needles in my arms. Wearing this at night has stopped that, a pleasant surprise. I chose this product over others as it comes in a small enough size, I’m a petite woman and most products are too big for me. It isn’t that soft or pretty, and looks basic and cheap, but I’m not exactly looking for a fashion item and it hasn’t irritated my sensitive skin at all. The only time I’ve struggled is on a long haul flight, where I found I couldn’t comfortably wear this with my over ear headphones, but I have a child sized head so that’s less likely to be an issue for most people. It’s been such a game changer that I’m ordering two more so I can have one that lives in my locker at work, and one beside the bed for overnight use.

Much better than the usual horseshoe ones. It holds your head upright and you can sleep comfortably even if the back of the chair (in a car or in a plane or wherever) does not support your head properly. Very comfortable.

I brought this due to neck pain but to honest I haven’t found if of any help but more that is uncomfortable to wear. To be fair it may be that I have an incorrect size but I find it’s a bit to deep and doesn’t sit well.

Offers good support for my neck (size 14.5 inch) while allowing for movement to prevent stiffness I have cervical Radiculopathy and wear this when I do chores in garden,chain saw wood,etc where I need to be careful not to hyperextend

If only the NHS used these, soft ,comfortable, supportive and a reasonable price too

Mi ha aiutato molto, la M si adatta perfettamente al mio collo che è sottile . Anche l'altezza , a differenza di altri collari , è perfetta . Senza essere invasivo, questo tutore è stato un valido supporto di notte e di giorno, al computer e alla guida . Un sollievo nel momento di massima infiammazione cervicale durante questo mese di agosto, naturalmente è un po' caldo ma morbido e leggero. Attenzione che calza piccolo.
