I recommend this well-made belt, it shows the difference between a cheap belt & a quality belt.
Maaaaaan! It's hard finding a decent leather belt. A lot of them are about half as thick as this belt, with a chintzy buckle. I've had leather belts split, the strap holding the buckled end fall off, the buckle come apart, just a waste of money. I've only just started using this, but I can tell that the belt and I will be working together for quite a while. It's worth the price. WARNING ... to unbuckle, you've got to practice. Don't wait until you really need to use the washroom. It's a heavy duty buckle with part of it knobbly to keep the belt secure. Which means it doesn't just slide off, which is good. Buy the belt, use it, you'll see what I mean when you take it off.

Careful with fitment. Good quality belt
Carhartt fitment is finicky. Good quality belt. Good leather, however it's stiffer than expected for 100% real leather. Still deserves a 4 star.

Sturdy buckle & full grain leather
The belt is put together well with a quality double buckle and appears to be full grain leather. It's made in India. I do a lot of construction work and it has provided good support. The leather was a bit stiff at first but has broken in nicely without any perceivable stretch. I wear it mainly for work, but looks good for casual wear as well.

Cheap. Not well made.
Made in India. This belt is very thin, not heavier rawhide as I would have liked. The holes for the prongs are off, meaning they do not line up with the prongs. Rather than setting in the holes evenly, they have to be squished together, meaning they're not going to last long by having to be bent sideways. So without being buckled, the prongs are something like 3/4s of an inch apart, once buckled they have to be squished to within 1/2 an inch apart from each other (not exact measurements, just an example of the difference). I've used an awl and a round chopstick (lol), to spread the holes wider. Hopefully, this ends this pitb defect. 3 stars for the thin leather and defective holes. Also after stretching out these holes, I realized that most belts of this fashion have grommets to help keep the leather from ripping. The leather on this belt is so thin, that it seems like it will rip. But then again, good thing it didn't have grommets, or I wouldn't have been able to stretch them out! This is the second cheap belt from Carrhart that I've had to deal with, very disappointed in their products. I expected better.

Nice belt, runs small
Solid belt like everyone says. I wear 34-36 or so. I initially ordered a size 40 but it was just big enough, I used the last holes. Returned it for a 38 and it's good. I have a couple holes to spare in case I lose weight.
