A Chili-Powdered Journey to Flavor Town 🌶️
Ever wanted to spice up your life but without the emotional consequences? Look no further than the RICO RICO Chile Powder 3-Pack! This bundle isn’t just three bags of chili powder; it’s a flavor-packed passport to culinary adventure. Here’s the lowdown:Guajillo Chili Powder – Mild, smoky, and oh-so-sophisticated. Guajillo is like the jazz music of chili powders: it’s smooth, versatile, and makes every dish feel fancy. I sprinkled it on popcorn once, and suddenly I was wearing a beret.Ancho Chili Powder – Deep, rich, and slightly sweet. If Guajillo is jazz, Ancho is a slow blues ballad. This powder will make your stews cry tears of joy. My chili con carne hugged me back after I added this. True story.Mystery Bonus Powder – Okay, there isn’t a mystery powder, but I got so excited I started imagining one. That’s how good these are.The best part? These powders are so fresh, I swear I heard them whisper "Gracias" when I opened the bags. They don’t just season food; they season your soul.10/10 would recommend—just don’t make the rookie mistake I did: “accidentally” inhale the powder to test its potency. That’s a one-way ticket to Sinus Inferno, my friends. 🌋

fantastic blend of chili powders often not found at all or not found separate in American stores
Wonderful savory, mild to hot chili powders to add spice to any dish, So far I have been using the milder powders in my rice and beans with a dash of the Arbol at the end for some kick. I use it in my pasta for depth and kick. I can tell that I am going to run out of the ANcho soonest, and then the other two mildest ones, and probably have Habanero and Arbol left with some last at the end, but this is good as it tells me which ones to buy in larger portions for cooking next time. Now I feel I am a much more informed cook when it comes to chilis and how quickly I go through them when I can use them abundantly as I now can, thanks to Amazon. The taste in the kitchen has gone way up qualitatively.

Nice range in flavors
I bought this set to make spiced beef and Spanish rice. After learning that ordinary chili powders are mostly oregano, paprika and garlic I decided to try pure chili powders and this set was priced right and was in the mild to med hot range. My first attempt at Spanish rice using all 3 peppers was just delicious. I used very little, 2 teaspoons of the mild and medium and one tsp of the hot. It was just right. In the beef, I used equal amounts of each and, wow! This is a game changer.I highly recommend this set. I use a fair amount of chili in the foods I enjoy most. There are so many entrees and side dishes that can be made more flavorful by adding even a small amount of chili. Even potato salad and cole slaw perk right up with just a dash of the ancho chili.

Great Variety, Good Flavor
It’s great to have a variety pack to compare flavors. Smoky or sharp, hotter, they are all good. I bought these after having some of these types of chili powders in some Blue Apron dinners. I really liked them and decided to expand my spice repertoire. They really are different and it’s easier than buying the dried chilies and grinding my own.

Great flavor and great combination of different chili powders
I love this combination of chili powders. I feel like it’s a reasonable price to get a good array of flavors. A couple chili recipes I use call for 4 tablespoons of chili powder. I like using one of each of these plus tablespoon of regular chili powder In my chili. I highly recommend these chili powders.

Excellent flavor
This set is wonderful. Each bottle has its own unique flavor profile. I use these to season beef for pulled beef. Excellent quality, excellent flavor. Very fresh.

A must for any Mexican cuisine
All of these chile powders have great flavor. The Ancho chili powder adds a nice Smokey flavor. It’s one of the more prominent ingredients I use in fajitas. The Chile de Arbol has a much more bright flavor. Any time I want to kick up the heat, this is my go-to spice. The Guajillo chili powder is my favorite. It’s tough to describe the flavor, but is the most well-balanced. The family loves when I make quesabirria tacos, which requires reconstituting dehydrated Guajillos peppers. If that don’t make enough flavor for me, a little more Guajillo chili powder will do the trick. It also comes in handy for Mexican rice and carne asada seasoning. Not only would I recommend, but I’ll order these again once my supply is depleted.

3 of the Four Horsemen of the Mexican Flavor Town
If you include Cumin, you have the real 4 Horsemen of Mexico's Flavor town. I purchased these to make Ranchero Sauce. I was not disappointed with the result. These chili powders are fresh and full of genuine spice and flavors that are in all of the classical Mexican dishes you find in restaurants. My Ranchero sauce needs a little taming as it darn near made me burn my sensitive biscuits the following day. I will use half of the amount next time. This is good stuff and well made. If you are looking for authentic ground chili spice, these guys know how to do it.
