Good Piece of Equipment with One Flaw for my Gear
Nice and light weight but also seems sturdy and durable. The one flaw with my gear is that the top of the mount/handle is very wide. I have a camera case with two snaps at the bottom and the handle hits one snap but not the other. I realize a wider top to mount on makes it more sturdy but it's like an inch and a half across which I wish was a little smaller. Otherwise, a solid product.

Pretty Good
Good construction, OK material, easy to use, has 1/4 and 3/8 thread. I had to return it because I made a mistake when ordered (my camera+lens is way to heavy for this one). The point is here: Amazon's return/refund practice is the best. Couldn't be easier, faster, more efficient. Thanks.

Not a true hiking stick
It you put much weight on it then it slips and becomes smaller. Only for light walking. works great for the camera but not for hiking.

Good For Mobile Photography
I am an Iphone photographer so I bought this for mobile picture taking. I haven't used it yet, but it is definitely something I want in my photography kit because I can see it being very useful in different situations (such as a tight corner in real estate photography where a traditional tripod won't fit). It seems very well made and easy to adjust to the desired height. I also purchased a ball head to go with it so my Iphone holder would work (I already had a phone holder so I didn't need to purchase that, but you will if you don't already have one). I'd recommend it.

Camera mount quickly came loose
It looked good and was easy to operate, but after only a few uses, the camera mount loosened up and began to wobble badly. There was no way to tighten back up, it was beyond the return period, and I have no use for a walking stick, so this is destined for the recycle bin. I'm not sure if it was a one-off defect or genuinely bad build quality, but I would not recommend it.
