Very happy with them.
I bought two of these to use with my desktop audio system. I'll be using one with my Woo Audio WA6 tube amplifier, the other with an Emotiva XDA-2 Gen 2 DAC. I had power cords for both of these pieces but they were just standard old, cheap cords. I was looking for something more robust.I don't put much stock in the various "snake oil" sales pitches involved within my chosen hobby. I will upgrade a cable here and there IF it suits my needs. If a headphone comes with a 4' cable I need something else. If it comes with a 10' cable, I need something else. I choose Periapt cables in 7 foot lengths because I don't break the bank and I get what works for me best. I'm sure Amazon offers upgrades for the needs of others but I'm often in need of a cable with a proprietary type of connecter. As for interconnects, KabelDirekt suit me just fine, available right here on Amazon. I refuse to spend ridiculous amounts of cash on such purchases.I've read the reviews here and some of them leave me scratching my head. One such review says that this power cable sounds horrible. Does it buzz? Does it hum? If not, then it is doing it's job, which is to deliver power and to be dead silent in doing so. Mission accomplished here. I don't know but maybe this reviewer needs to do some cable management behind his/her desk. We've all been there before!Another review shows a picture of a cable which is missing some of the fabric around the cord. Mine certainly look nothing like that. I have no idea what that's all about. These are very decent, aesthetically pleasing cables and while the number one factor should always be sound quality over appearance, if you are going to own a gorgeous tube amplifier such as a Woo Audio, such a cable adds a certain level of cool factor to the entire system in my opinion.I'll buy more of these cables as necessary. I highly recommend them.

Enhanced Performance
Needed a reliable power cord for my Marshall Amp head. My first impression was that this cord is robust in construction. It’s heavy and also looks like it means business. Plugged it in and powered up my amp. After the first song of our rehearsal, the drummer turns to me and says, “What did you do to your amp? It sounds incredible!”I had to agree. The tone did change a bit, but for the better. It was more energetic. The room was full of sound and it was just the right amount of tone and volume.I’m so impressed and I’ve purchased two more just to have as back up. I highly recommend this power cord.

10 AWG Hi-End HiFi Audio Universal AC Power Cable Power Cord US Plug - 5FT
Cord is extremely well made and high value for cost. Heavy duty- and feels well made. Quality is excellent, and much less expensive than other 'audiophile cables'. Would highly recommend.

Great looking cable, does not improve the sound
This cable looks and feels great. Does it improve the sound on a $10k+ stereo system? No. Does it make the sound worse? No. It sounds exactly the same as with any other decent power cable that can provide enough amps to my amplifier. I tested this cable vs. two other 'audiophile' power cables and a regular power cable, and they all sound the same. Having said that, this seems to be a well made thick power cable that looks great and is relatively cheap.

Still new to me ... but so far, so good. A noticeable sonic difference? Perhaps.
This cable is extremely well made. It arrive well-packed in a smallish brown box and an air tight ziplock-style bag. Surprisingly robust, and yet still pliable enough. Will not bend around sharpest corners, but easy enough to work with. A major, and I do mean major upgrade from a stock power cable aesthetically, if you care about such things. For me, at the price, it seemed like a 'no harm no foul' kind of purchase in order to find if there was a notable improvement or difference in sound. I've listened with this cord powering my preamp (Bryston BP-25) for about 8 hours now, and I do not think I am imagining it, but I very well could be, but the bass frequencies have more texture to them, and the 3-dimensionality of good recordings is very apparent. To be fair, I already had a good thing going in my system, however, this cable MIGHT have some how put it into the next level for my ears. Too early to give a definitive statement, but, one thing it certainly did not do is: degrade my sound in any way shape or form. For 40 bucks or so delivered, it looks and feels great, and might have improved the 3-dimensionality of my musical environment. I will keep it in my system now and continue to note differences or experiences with familiar music I've not had before, if any should arise. At any rate - it's well made, beautiful to look at, and, if there is a such a thing as cable 'burn-in' I do look forward to seeing if this 'burn-in' time actually does anything positive to the music, other than what I've experienced already in the first few hours.I'd buy another based on look and feel alone.

Holy Crap
I wanted to try a beefier cable to see if it would make a difference for my SPL Elector preamp, since it uses a high voltage rail to provide some headroom for dynamics and transients, etc. was using a Pangea cable that I figured would be more than enough. But when I replaced it with this one? Immediate and outstanding f improvement. It was stunningly obvious my preamp was being held back. Transients, shading, bass clarity and weight, tonal richness, stage…everything became what I now realize it should be. My system just sounds like Hifi (finally). Leaves me wondering if a $500 cable would really be anything better than this. Doubtful. And I have no desire to find out. Highly recommended 👍🏼

No hype - this actually works and I was a skeptic
Let's just say I was very skeptical that a power cord could do anything other than not produce a hum, but after putting this on my sub I am hearing some tones that I never heard before from bass guitars, like it extended the low end, I listen to my stereo about 3 hours a day so I noticed right away !Buying some more for my dac , preamp and amp!I would not have believed it if I had not heard myself.
