STAEDTLER Mechanical Pencil Night Blue Series, 0.7mm (925 35-07)

The mechanical pencil was delivered very quickly.That was the only positive thing.When trying to fill up mines, I had to realize that this was not possible.The problem was, the eraser was halfway inside the plastic tube.An attempt to remove it also failed.So he was useless.So I threw it in the trash.I would have had to drive to the next town to return it.This means 45 miles driving distance.

Reliable mechanical pencil, I already have the 0,5 and the 0,9 size,same series, I bought the 0,7 size sure that it would had fit my expectations

As someone who enjoys the supposed dying art of hand drawing, I thought it worthwhile upgrading my ageing Staedtlers to something with a bit more substance and longevity.What can I say, these are a beautifully made and designed piece of kit, with a nice weight and premium feel to them. I bought the 0.3, 0.5, 0.7 and 2.0mm versions which have been on my desk since day 1, are still a joy to use, and have drawn a number of comments from colleagues.For those of you buying a 2.0mm one, you'll need a lead pointer as there is not one included in the cap, and care needs to be taken when selecting one, Staedtler's own blue tub-type pointer will not accept these pencils without careful modification.Unsure why these should be Japanese market only, as surely they'd be snapped up in Europe and the Americas??

Brought two, look great and work well but the build quality is suspect. The metal tip fell off one of them so is now effectively useless. £10 down the drain.Tried gluing it back on but it just fell off again.

Very comfortable to draw with and use nice colour too
