pearl river bridge dark soy sauce mushroom 16.9-Ounce Plastic Bottles

I ordered this based on other reviews and because I absolutely love mushrooms. I feel that this was a very good soy sauce. The difference in flavor between this and regular soy sauce was subtle but I definitely like this better. I feel it had a little bit less salt but not that much. There were two things I did not like and that was not directly related to the sauce itself. First, if you are spending this much, I expect that it should come in a glass bottle and not plastic. Second there is * absolutely* no way to pour this without it getting all over the outside of the bottle. You can guarantee it will make a big mess every time you use it. I only pour it by the sink so that I can wash it off under the faucet. Yes it's that bad. If you pour it and put the cap back on and put it in the refrigerator, there is a little bit that always accumulates around the top of the bottle that will seep out from under the cap and run down the sides of the bottle. So make sure you clean it before you put it away. I'm not quite sure that it's worth the price, but I'm glad that I tried it.

I read the reviews before buying this soy sauce and agree that the taste of this soy sauce is wonderful! However, I also agree that the bottle pouring is terrible! The spout does not allow for you to pour it without having it run down the sides and the top of the bottle. It's a terrible design and surprising it hasn't been fixed by now. That said, the sauce flavor is very good and we love it for cooking, adding on top or as an ingredient in many things. PLEASE FIX the DRIPPING lid though!!!

Yes, you'll feel very sorry for the green label grocery store soy sauce after you try this. This, along with the Pearl River Light soy sauce, will make a stir fry, lo mien, or fried rice that you will want to eat every day. I have been using the grocery store "lite" soy sauce and even that was very salty. When I saw the huge amount of salt in this product, I was worried that I made a mistake buying it, but WOW, the flavor was there, and it was NOT salty. This is the authentic taste of restaurant Chinese food! For a huge batch of vegetables (plus meat if you aren't vegetarian), use the following recipe: One TB Pearl River light soy One TB Pearl River mushroom superior dark soy Two Tsp of sugar One Tsp sesame oil That may not seem enough for a huge batch, but it is. For smaller portions cut recipe way down. DO NOT substitute any other soy, use the Pearl River brand and you will wonder how you ever lived without this. Seriously, it's that good. Yes, it gets a little drippy when you're pouring, but I don't care, and when I saw the expiration date of less than a year I was thinking that I wouldn't be able to use it all by then. HAHAHA, I'll probably be ordering more way before then!
