I have had this car for a couple of weeks now, and I love it. But before the review, one note: A few days into owning the car, I flipped it onto snow and the body broke near one of the holes for the connector rods (see picture). I contacted DEERC, and after sharing a picture and my order number, they sent me a new body, free of charge (the one in the bag in the picture). It took about 2 weeks to arrive, but it did come from overseas. Overall, I am very pleased with the speed and efficiency of their customer service. If you buy this car, you can know that they will stand behind their product. Back to the review. This car is extremely powerful, quick, fast, tough (besides the body cracking), and fun. I have driven it through snow and got it wet inside, and it still has no problems, so it is definitely water resistant. It has 4 wheel drive with metal differentials, so the wheels can spin at different speeds to help with cornering. Also, the batter connects securely and has a strap to hold it in. I attached the optional wheelie bar to the back, as every time you floor it, it does a wheelie. There are 2 speed modes on the remote, 70 percent and 100 percent. I usually use it on 70, and it is still plenty fast and can do a wheelie. On 100 percent I clocked it at 22 mph with my phone attached to it as a speedometer (so probably more like 25 since my phone is heavy). The remote also has a steering trim adjustment, a throttle, a wheel to steer, and a button to turn on the headlight on the car (super bright at night). The range is probably about 100 feet (not super good, but not bad either). The car is small enough that by the time it is that far away, it is hard to tell which way it is facing. The car also has oil filled shocks that feel nice, and when you are going forward and push the reverse throttle, the car brakes to a stop without continuing to back up. Finally, the rear wheels on the car are slightly angled in, which I have read online helps to corner better. Included with the car is: the car, the car body, 2 batteries (I get almost 20 min out of each one), a charger, 8 connecting pins for the body (it uses 4 so 4 extra), a wheelie bar and screws to attach it, a hex tool, a screwdriver, and a manual. I have jumped this car, landed it upside down, rolled it, and had a lot of fun. The one piece that did crack was replaced free of charge, which proved they have good customer service. I highly recommend this car for anyone wanting to get into rc car hobbying without spending $300 for a traxxas or other name brand car. Great customer service and great product.

Buying and assembly experience: I bought the car as a gift for my son. The packaging, instructions and accessories were more than satisfactory. Extra battery and body clips came in handy as you tend to lose those! Performance: I was surprised with the sturdiness of the product! We made makeshift ramps and slopes for jumps in the backyard and this car took all the blows confidently. 100% speed is basically INSANE! My son and I were just ecstatic. The Oil filled shocks are especially good for going over the bumps and steering is pretty accurate and linear. The car worked really good for about 4-5 weeks. Issues: After 5 weeks, the basic motion of the car felt restricted like something was either broken in the driveshaft or motor was not working well. The battery started dying in few minutes or slow movement. I tried checking the battery connections and it was getting very hot every time we tried using the car. Customer service: I contacted them over the email and the call. I explained the issue over the phone and also sent photos and videos of what seems to be wrong. We both came to first conclusion that the motor may the issue. Without any hesitation, the customer rep sent over a new motor. Since it was coming from overseas, it took about 12 days to arrive but I was happy that they were very open to resolve the issue. I replaced the motor but the problem did not go away. I emailed them again and the rep said we will send over a new product and I can keep the damaged one as they could not fix the issue. I was more than happy to hear that! The new package came within a week and it's been working really good for last few weeks. Summary: The RC car is absolutely bang for the buck for every age. Really great performance and A++ ratings for the customer service. They really respond within few hours and actually want to help you instead of trying to find ways to get out of warranty fixes. Highly recommended!

This RC car is extremely fast and powerful. The brushless motor makes a big difference in speed and performance, and it handles all types of terrain very well. The build quality feels solid, and the waterproof design is a great bonus for outdoor use. Having two batteries is very convenient and extends play time. It’s fun for kids and impressive enough for adults too. Highly recommended

This truck is super fast and awesome. We had a shock break on us, but upon contacting customer support they have been very quick and helpful finding a new one to be shipped. Highly recommend this truck and company.

Went 1.5yrs without any issues whatsoever, motor shaft broke earlier this year, no big deal, easy to replace the motor. Then just this week I sent it a little too hard up a half pipe and broke the rear where the bumper attaches (pictured). Already fixed it. Parts are super easy to find and not horribly priced, this also shares a platform with hyper go h16bm and a few other models under different brands, so those parts all fit this. Only complaint so far is the range can be limited.

The front of this car broke within 2 hours of normal play. We expected a durable toy, but this proved to be of poor quality and is now unfixable. It is incredibly frustrating to have a Christmas present end up in the trash so quickly. Even though the return window has passed, I expect the seller to stand behind their product quality.

Bought this for my son’s 10th birthday. He LOVES it, it is very fast and quite durable. The battery life is great and the speed is perfect for the size of RC car. The remote control is very intuitive and responsive to input. Definitely impressed with the value.

Impressive !!! Charged up both batteries and did outdoors test runs. Both batteries run HARD 100% power for about 14 to 18 minutes, however if you are more conservative 70% mode and more casual you could get 28 to 21+ minutes. But, charging the batteries is hit/miss they seem to take a very long time to charge, and disconnecting and reconnecting them makes them suddenly appear fully charged. Running the RC Viper Truck at 100% full throttle made the truck stop running in about 15 minutes, but simply turning it back on gave another 5 minutes at 70% and that seems to be an interesting trick. Caution, if you run this RC viper aggressively, 100% throttle, full throttle gunning starts vs gradual acceleration, hard turns over bumpy terrain, abd using reverse a lot - those gears and differential are going to wear down. If you smash into things like rocks and trees, I'm sure it will break eventually. Those front tires will push back on that plastic servo.....if you enjoy this RC vehicle I would run it at 70%, never use reverse, and still run it on any terrain but avoid smashing into things and even avoid flipping it over or tumbling it. You really need to clean and dry the vehicle after every use, the tires can fill with water and other parts will get caked with dirt and debris. Use a blow dryer, use a fine toothbrush and if you take off the tires be very careful there are small steel cotter pins or rods that will fall out. After picking up a few 3000mAh batteries the run time is now 36 minutes. Been racing around about 5 hours worth, so far no broken parts and the same great performance, but I have lost a few clips. Still a very impressive vehicle, and I am sticking with 70% power runs, and avoiding using reverse. Also avoiding crazy jumps and flipping the vehicle l, if the vehicle did snap a part I would either use the extra warranty or jbweld.
