Berkley PowerBait Catfish Bait Chunks Fishing Dough Bait

I have tremendous luck with this specific scent/flavor on channel cats in lakes and ponds. No idea how it would do in any type of moving water, but I’m sure it was likely engineered specifically for lakes and ponds. It is more and more difficult to use and keep on the hook as the air temperature gets hotter. It will fall off during casting and is overall just more difficult to work with when it gets hot. I keep a small cooler with me and keep the powerbait packets on ice during the summer.

Crabs like it, wasps like it and was not aiming for that as result. Uh let’s see, looks like there’s fur in it… or drier lint. Smells like Cheetos. Minnows/sardines stayed away from it.

Catfish get a whiff of this bait, and they can't help tracking it down and biting. It's worked like a charm every time I've used it. Other anglers are sitting around watching your action and will immediately ask, "What are you using for bait?" My answer, "Berkley PowerBait Catfish Bait Chunks Fishing Dough Bait". I don't think it smells too bad but it's irresistible to catfish. The catfish don't tire of this stuff. If they're there and biting, you're going to catch a few! Pick up some treble hooks to use with it. It will stay on the hook longer.

This stuff wont even stay on the hook. Followed instructions put it on the hook, placed it in the water for a minute bait fell off.

This stuff is amazing. Have never had such good action. Fished multiple types of baits at the same time. This one blew everything out of the water. I got 10 bites on this one to every 1 bite I got on the others.

Falls off hook easy. But it catches catfish very easy. But it is basically a powder in water. It makes for amazing bites the first 10 minutes but its fully dissolved by then
