Sonic Prime 5" Articulated Action Figure - Rusty Rose Yoke City

This is a great figure! The joints move nicely, but are a tad stiff. However, the stiff joints make this character pretty sturdy and able to stand alone! The paint quality is great, and the additional paint texture used to give a rusty sheen is sublime! I was even fooled for a brief moment when taking her out of the box because I thought “geez she’s kinda dirty! Oh waaait! That’s intentional!” Her arm does extend as advertised, and I included pictures to demonstrate it. It is a tad underwhelming the extent of her extension heh heh but it definitely does the trick as a selling feature! The chances are that her arm does extend more than what I showcased in the photos, but I really don’t want to yank her on her arm like a Sonic-crazed lunatic.Everything on her is sturdy and made of plastic except for the spikes on her forehead. They’re a tad rubbery, and moveable. Her size is great, and fits perfectly in my palm!I want to add that her head can’t do a 360 degree turn because her hair spikes can’t move past her shoulder pads. Some mobility stifling aspects of her are like that, where her clothing and robot parts interfere with the articulation. That’s why the back of her head showcases her neck joint so blatantly. If her spikes on the back were any longer, then she definitely couldn’t turn her head at all.I’d like to conclude this review with this fact: Rusty Rose hasn’t yet attacked me for resisting the Chaos Council so…she really is pretty good!

For the $14.99 price tag. This toy is very well done.Rusty Rose has quite a bit going on. Most notably the fantastic paint job.She has paintwork meant to give the illusion of damaged and worn metal. And she has metallic bits to make the illusion pop.She also has double jointed elbows and knees. And feels rather sturdy. So she would be difficult for a kid to accidentally break. Her bangs are also made out of a soft pvc material. So there are no parts of the toy that could hurt you.She is taller then the main line series by Jakks. But Rusty is a taller character, so she goes pretty well with a Jakks display or collection.I highly recommend this for both young and old Sonic fans.

The media could not be loaded. Definitely an incredible design and paint job, she's bigger than the standard Sonic figures, but in scale with other Prime figures. Some joints are stiff, I'd recommend heating her up a little before trying to pose her. No accessories, which is disappointing. The box she comes in is pretty big, I think they could've tossed in something. Her hammer? Or the bird in her chest? Still, she's a highly recommend figure for any Sonic Prime fans out there.

It's SO GOOD! The articulation with the shoulders and neck/head could be better though, as they're too close together to really get any movement. I'm also not sure if the head can tilt up, maybe I just don't know how lolThough with that aside, I really love how they did the elbow and knee joints, like the knees and elbows are actually separate from the legs! (EDIT: double-jointed*). For such a detailed figure, she's also extremely flexible with her forearms and calfs. Oh, and she has a hip joint too, well she can at least spin her upper body a full 360 degrees. Ankles are also (surprising) pretty flexible, as well as her wrists/hands.And as mentioned on the box, her left hand can also "extend" a bit as a play feature (last two images). It's not much, though it definitely will add some personality if you're looking to make movies with her!My only real complaint is that her hands are stuck as fists, though that's understandable considering how complicated her build is. Also kinda wish the "black" paint was darker on her right eye, to differentiate it from the metal covering, though that's just a nitpick.Overall an amazing figurine at a fairly cheap price! I didn't really enjoy Sonic Prime that much, though she's always been my fav character from the series, so seeing this figure do the character justice makes me happy. Though I think I should add, if you're looking to do professional photos with her, she doesn't come with a stand or stick or anything, so it may be tricky to get her to stand on her own. Other than that I totally recommend this if you like Sonic and/or robots!9/10, wish I had figures like these when I was a kid lol

My son collects Sonic stuff and he liked it. That's all that matters.

The packaging was terrible but the toy is still cute
