After wearing this knee brace for only 1 week, the pain in my knee from a minor torn meniscus has subsided immensely! It has allowed me to exercise moderately, mostly walking and body weight only leg exercises, without pain. The worst pain and stiffness I previously had from the tear was right after sitting at my work desk for extended periods of an hour or more and then standing. Now, with the brace on, that has almost completely gone away too. I can hardly believe it after dealing with the pain for months.The only one minor design flaw is at the top on the inside part of the thigh where the hinge is, there's about an extra inch of fabric that extends above the hinge and it rubbed a small raw spot on my skin from walking. That extra "flap" of fabric really doesn't need to be there, so I just folded it down over the hinge to keep it from rubbing. Pics attached to show what I mean (just don't judge my Sasquatch nature). Again, minor and with a simple fix, so not worth taking away a star. It may not really be a design flaw, I'm only 5' 6", so it could be rubbing due to my short legs with thick and hairy Hobbit-like thighs, taller people with skinny hairless legs may not have the same issue.The fitting based on the size chart indicated a medium was the right size and it was spot on for me. Some reviews said to order a size up, I don't think that's accurate. Sure, it's a tight fit, but it's supposed to be. It does wear in and relax a little after a day or two wearing the brace. 100% worth the money.

I’ve been using the Shock Doctor Maximum Support Compression Knee Brace for awhile, and it’s made a big difference. It gives solid support for my knee during workouts and long walks, especially after a past injury. The hinges and straps keep everything stable, and the fit is snug but comfortable. It took a little time to break in, but now it’s part of my regular routine. Great choice if you need serious knee support!

I bought this knee brace for my dad. The brace itself seems to provide good support and feels sturdy, but I was really disappointed with the packaging. It came in an old-looking bag with no label, no size, and no information at all.For the price and brand, I expected more care in how the product was packaged and presented.

This knee brace is well constructed and is finished well. The knee brace provided by urgent care fell apart in three days. This brace is doing a good job keeping my knee stable until I get surgery for knee replacement. Simple to put on and only two straps to lock the brace in place. Simple and effective.

I don't like to write negative reviews but I am compelled to do so now.I am extremely disappointed in this product. The title of product is not only misleading, it is a lie and I will never purchase another product from the company because of this.I have been doing alot of research on the benefit of adjustable dual hinges that you adjust according to the stage your injury is in. I should have asked the question before buying it, because none of the videos included how to adjust the hinges. I guess after getting delirious reading all the descriptions and reviews from multiple braces, I just ordered it without asking. I did not read any reviews that spoke about the hinges. Check out the question and answers ..clearly says "have a set range" and "hinges are not adjustable but the straps are." You can get a brace for $ 20-30 less and get this support.2nd - the sizing - The advise is varied, I didn't know which to believe, but the advise to get it snug but within your measurement, going up a size if the measurement boarders the next size. Per the measuring directions you measure 2 inches below the middle of your kneecap, I did that and it was 13 inches or 33 cm - This is on the cusp, so I tried both. It is snug going on , OK , however at 3-4 inches below my knee my calf is much larger and both sizes were painful in that area, definitely a circulation issue.I hope this helps someone else avoid wasting time and effort - I needed the support right away and to wait for arrival and have to send products back because of a false title is aggravating to me.
