There are so many times when I ordered something based on a picture and it's not nearly as nice 'in person'. The opposite holds true for these artificial pine branches. I had been looking for some greenery to help with a little craft project that I want to do for the holidays and while I will often use 'real' branches, I wanted something more re-usable for this one. When I saw these, I wasn't 100% convinced that they would look real enough but took a chance and ordered them. I was very pleasantly surprised when they arrived. They do come tightly packaged together but once I started to separate them, I was impressed by how real they look. The texture even resembles real pine more than a typical plastic branch. The long stems are great for me as I'm filling a very large antique wooden tool box and needed them to extend high enough so that they wouldn't get lost in the bottom and get dwarfed by the size of the box overall combined with long stem berries. The quantity is fantastic. I won't need to order multiple packages of these for my big project. The only negative aspect is that they have a pretty strange smell. It bothered me initially but now that they've been out of the package for several days, it has somewhat dissipated. I look forward to getting to work on this project in time for the holidays!
