All Star Pro-Elite Catchers Mitt (32 in.)

Shopping for a high quality mitt for a 12U player that would fit and last. We were caught between buying a "youth" model mitt that would fit his hand better but ultimatley sacrifice leather quality/longevity and an adult model that fit poorly but has good leather and lasts. This mitt fit both of these criteria perfecty. It surprised me actually how well it fit his hand. If you are looking for a high end mitt for your serious younger player then this model is the one.

The other reviews said it came very soft and almost broken in. I found it the same as other gloves, needs breaking in. It works extremely well and has eliminated my finger bend-back issue I had with 2 previous gloves. It is beautiful to look at, and is the envy of everyone who sees it in Babe Ruth and High School JV. Now that it is broken in, it closes well and I have to really blow a catch to miss it with this glove. Remember it still takes talent and practice to make this work for you.

The glove is the best glove my son has ever used. It did take a while to break in but I'm sure he will get several years of use out of it. I will continue to buy All-Star gloves when he needs another one.
