Germinated no problem
I've never had problems growing basil and these seeds are great. Germinated within about 7 days and my little seedlings are doing fine. The picture shows them at 15 days. Will be potting them on in a couple of weeks. The only downside is that they are pricey. Not only did I buy these seeds, I also bought parsley, coriander, celery and flower seeds. The cost was nearly fifteen pounds. I then found that the seller has a website and I could have bought all of the seeds for just over six pounds. To say I feel robbed is an understatement. I haven't done anything with the other seeds yet but when I do, I will leave a review for those but I will still be mentioning the price as I think everyone should know.

Fantastic Crop
Lots of seed in this packet. Planted them in a very large pot and got a fantastic crop of basil all through the summer. Well worth it compared to buying a single plant at the supermarket and very easy to grow in the spring summer.

Bad luck or bad seeds, not sure which
Tried to germinate multiple lots of these seeds, only one actually germinated, the one that did is growing well so that’s good, but disappointed at the high failure rate. I’m not a particularly green thumbed person but normally don’t have trouble getting the seeds going, not sure if seeds got too cold in warehouse, unlucky or just got a packet of duds.

An immense quantity
The seeds arrived promptly; it comprised 8000 seeds which would supply an Italian army for a year. So a great bargain.
