FLYCAST - Fly Tying Vice Rotary and FULL SET of tools

My Fkycast fly tying vice snd tools arrived on time today in excellent order and was exactly what I expected having read previous reviews. The quality looks spot on and havind done pleanty of research previous to placing my order I know that it’s a quality product at an excellent price, I’m happy to say it looks and feels as good as I’d hoped. Thanks guy, it’s nice to buy at online prices but still support a small family business. I haven’t used it yet but I’m confident that my new fly tying hobby will soon be off to good start when I do. I only started fishing about three years ago but it’s fair to say that I’m hooked and fly fishing is good for my and everyone else’s mental health. Which I’m hoping that tying will be too when the weather isn’t piscatorially conducive. Since Mother Nature doesn’t appear to be in any rush to get spring underway anytime soon uo here in The Highlands anyway! My 9 year old daughter already thinks that Dad uses the “F” words, my case Football and fishing, too much! I confess to being guilty as charged but I may disagree with her definition of “too much” I’m sure when she’s back from school questions will be asked! My wife once described me, soon after we’d met as, a beer swilling football obsessed, workaholic Brummy chancer. Again I don’t disagree with any of that, except I’d have to correct her slightly in that I’d say I was specifically Aston Villa obsessed. The good news is that I was still able to pursuade her to marry me. As Mr Churchill would say of himself, my greatest achievement! Anyway I look forward to tying flies and catching more fish. I suspect that that review is actually of another, albeit similar, product. That, unfortunately, happens too often in Amazon reviews, which is an enormous shame, because the idea of such reviews is one of the main reasons I always check Amazon before making a purchase. That is why I have copied and pasted the item description to the head of this review. (Come on Amazon sort that out and put yourselves in an even stronger market position!). Yes, one of the clasps on the box has failed already, and furthermore the whip finisher is of a different design to what I personally would have liked. But that's all trivia - for less than £50 incl. postage I am set up with all I need and everything is good quality. I don't know how they can do it at that price. If you're setting up, then jump in quick while they're still available.

Bought this kit for Christmas to replace my old vice that had seen better days, the supplied tools are of good quality and variety and there is not much you cannot tie with these. The vice itself is great quality and of robust construction using good quality steel and brass material, I particularly wanted this type of pedestal vice as my previous was of a bench clamp type so pedestal makes tying a lot more convenient. I can heartily recommend this kit as the vice itself looks as good as other pedestal types costing far more, the kit was delivered in a matter of days with problems. Alan Norton

Arrived ahead of scheduled delivery date. Wooden storage box is well made and looks good. The tools also look and feel good and looking forward to using them. Great product for taking with you on fishing trips.

Lovely little pedestal vice and tool set and great value for money. Can't fault the service from Flycast, superb company to deal with. There was a fault with the first vice I was sent, quick message via Amazon to flycast and a photo attached and they sent me a new part - which arrived 2 days later which was perfect, hand signed compliments slip and a hand written apology for the fault - where do you get service like that nowadays!? Simply Brilliant!! Thanks Flycast, I hope this set will give me many years service.

A very good vice , well made and very easy to use also nicely presented in quality box with good selection of tools.
