I've never let my stubble grow out to anything close to remotely resembling a beard. But due to Shelter In place here in California I took the opportunity to let it grow out; after all I had nowhere to go but my sofa-home office-kitchen-back deck-bed-repeat. A few weeks in I knew I needed something just not sure what. I also had zero clue that there would be a plethora of products out there. After several, ok a dozen or so google searches ("best beard oil etc") I narrowed my choices to a select few. I'm pretty good with flow charts, hey ok, maybe I got obsessive but as I said, I have been in lock down mood since March, so allow me my flow chart tangent. That all being said my choice was clear: Seven Potions. Sweet and Woody Scented Beard Softener was the winner........................fast forward weeks later and all I can say is wow! Did I make the right choice: easy to use droplet, great smell, keeps beard in control, moisturizes my skin, itching has ceased to exist and being in advertising designer the packaging is awesome. Bravo! The product is spot on brilliant! ok, rant over, but this stuff is good......the end.

Best I've tried by far. The citrus scent is extremely gentle, which is exactly what I was hoping for as I've found most beard oils to be overly scented and somewhat offensive. Also appreciate how much effort was clearly put into the packaging and the overall design.

From a female's perspective, this seems to be pretty good oil. It has a really great dropper. The Citrus Tonic scent, what scent? You can barely smell it, and one thing I'm beginning to realize, is all of the beard oils, smell relatively the same. They all smell like...beard oil. This one is no different. Smells like the typical oil scent, with a very light touch of lemon, that fades away to nothingness, shortly after he applies. Lesson learned, never spend hours, again, trying to pick which scent I think he might like, lol. Aside from that one complaint, it's a good product. He likes it, and uses it daily. If you prefer a lighter scent, it'd be great for you. So far, he's only used the wax a couple of times, when we've gone out, and that REALLY, hardly has a scent. His favorite product is definitely the beard butter that I got, and it smells amazing. Between this oil, his beloved butter, beard shampoo (professor fuzzworthy), boar hair brush, wooden comb, and taking biotin, his beard is definitely softening up, and looking good.

It hydrates skin

I've tried several brands of beard oil( many of the "top rated" name brands like lxxxxing bearded,bxxxxd brand, etc), made my own, all with varying degrees of success. This stuff is the best, it is light so it doesn't sit on my skin and clog my pores causing breakouts under my beard which is an issue I have run into with the others, it smells good( citrus and the woodsy one) and lastly my beard is noticeably softer with this stuff vs other brands that seem to help somewhat but not nearly as good as this and I mean it, seriously soft. You will like it, women will it. Great stuff I have it on subscription now.

Bought for my boyfriend. He is a redhead and they tend to have more coarse hair. I like it when he has a beard, plus he keeps it short, but has to shave it off completely once a month because he is in the military and has to go to training. He also has mild eczema too so his skin gets very itchy. This stuff is like a miracle potion! His beard is so nice and soft. Plus he used to complain about how itch his beard gets and he says that this totally solves the problem.

It's okay, smells nothing like it's advertised but conditions really well, not greasy and brings out the softness. But I like oils that also have a good scent in addition to conditioning my beard.

I have used several beard oils over the last few years and Seven Potions (Fragrance Free) has been the best so far for me. I have used it for a couple months now and am very happy with it. No strong perfumes that overwhelm you - just the natural oils your skin needs to prevent it from drying out, flaking & getting itchy. I have used a little at times and a lot at times and it always leaves my beard very soft and my skin happy without it feeling oily or sticky. Will be buying more. Hope this helps.

I have never left reviews for any purchase on Amazon. This beard oil is worth the review comments. I started growing beard stubble to mid length and started having dry skin and coats beard hairs First tried drug mart beard oil which were oily, full of chemicals and synthetic fragrances. Later went with honest Amish, good quality but very bad smell. I got the premium one. Seven Potion is more thick than Honest Amish or others, transparent so no risk if dropped on shirt. 30 seconds smell and post that a neutral beard oil which keeps skin smooth and irritation free. The ingress are all natural and it’s made in UK so definitely following the food and drug protocols.

Not bad product, oil good for beard and skin. Though is there clove in fragrance it seems to hang around not a fan. Over all it a good oil.

Excellent product. Great scent, soft on the skin and so far very good for the beard.

You get what you pay for. Seven potions is superior quality compared to the cheaper ones. You only need a small amount to get the effect you want. Keeps my son’s beard looking healthy and strong, and a little goes a long way. I bought the gift set last year now just bought him the full range I would certainly recommend this product and it smells great
