I'm building a house and had a lot of sheet foam to cut, so I knew from past experience that a dust-free foam blade could be a god-send. Before buying, I was disappointed to see the mediocre reviews on this blade, since it's the only product of it's kind, but I decided I wanted to see for myself how it performed. In short, not only were the poor reviews accurate in terms of warping, but my experience was even worse. I didn't even make it 12 inches into my first table saw cut on a 4'x8' sheet of 2" EPS before the extremely thin blade warped and the cut started wandering seriously off course. I checked my fence and all the directions to make sure all settings were correct, tried a few more cuts to be sure, but it just wouldn't work. The problem may have been exaggerated by the fact that I was using a higher density foam, but none-the-less, I lost faith in this product immediately. The warping was so severe, it felt extremely dangerous. As a side note, when I took this blade off to return it, I swapped into my table saw a segmented diamond blade typically used for cutting cement board, etc. It worked almost flawlessly for cutting the foam. No foam dust, and no warping due to the more robust 1/8" blade thickness.

I purchased this blade for use in my Sawstop 10" contractor table saw. Because the blade is 8" in diameter the Sawstop does not recognize it and will not operate. I installed it in my 10" compound miter saw and it works well, but I needed to space the foam up with 5/8" plywood to compensate for the smaller diameter blade.

I have to say I've cut a least 10 1" 8X4 house styrofoam boards lengthwise and this blade is still holding up. No residual dust Great product. Little pricey

I make movie props for a living. I was cutting 1/2" foam core board. I was working very slow, as I did not know the blade. I work with power equipment all the time. Within the first 12" of cutting, the blade flexed (bent) while working. the blade cut the edge of my brand new Dewalt table saws blade guide. Any more flex, and this thing could have exploded, or caused serious injury. I will be reporting to the Canadian safety Authority. DO NOT PURCHASE. I followed all instructions, and had the fence guide slide attachment in place. I have included images of the damages caused by the flexible blade. The blade had to flex 1/4" to hit the outside edge of the guide. Further I have included the results of my first cut. this is a direct photo using my IPhone. We are working on movie props where attention to detail is mandatory.

I did not read the fine print about the fact that even though it is a 10 inch blade it can only cut 2 inch thick board!
