My daughter and my wife get frequent nose bleeds and these are SO helpful. I always keep them in the house. The kids ones are tiny little rectangles that puff up with blood contact and it has a clotting agent that stops the bleeding fast. My kid has no issues with them hurting or being uncomfortable. They work exactly as they should. I just wish they were cheaper.

Both of my teenage sons get a decent number of nose bleeds. They used to run around looking for napkins or tissues to deal with it...until I found nampons. Of course they like the name, but they have found them so effective that I have to keep a decent stock of them on hand. One of my sons keeps one in his backpack - great to use when a nose bleeds shows up in class.I only deducted a star because these are not cheap & come with a small number per box...as I said, my kids get a lot of nosebleeds so it isn't exactly cheap to stay well-stocked at all times.

I had a nosebleed above my nose bone so I couldn’t put pressure on it. It bled off and on for 3 days. I had this happen before and the emergency room Doc put a tampon up my nose. It worked.I bought these thinking it would do the same thing without the 4 hour wait and $100 copay. They did exactly that. I inserted the NamponSimple to use: Insert in nose and pinch if possible. I left mine in overnight. The foam expands to seal the leak. It easily slid out and I have had no more bleeding.Way better than toilet paper or paper towel. A must for every first aid kit!

As a soccer, softball and basketball coach I deal with nose bleeds on a regular basis. I must say, the Nampons nosebleed stoppers work exceptionally well. I have had to use them twice since purchase and must say they stop & allow clotting quickly, within 5 minutes stopping the nosebleed.

Eh. Not sure these are worth it. You stick it up your nose and it soaks up some blood. But then you've got to pull it out and get rid of it. I find pinching my nose using paper towel works well. Maybe it has worked for other people but I wasn't that impressed.
