Got this for my son to use as his friend has a similar one. This kids camera is fantastic fun! Not only does it look great but it’s relatively easy to use and the instant print function is great. You can take photos and videos with this which are stored in the included 32GB MicroSD card and you can print the photos as soon as you take a photo or choose to switch that option off and print any pictures you want later. This is all done with a simple button press to switch this on and off so no complicated menu options. Within the menu options you can view your pictures, watch your videos, play music and even play simple games which are pre-installed! When printing, you can choose dot matrix print or greyscale. I’ve shown both of these options in my pics and video. Personally, I prefer the dot matrix image but each to their own. The pictures make print quickly and require no ink as it’s a thermal print image! Included in this set you get one roll of paper already pre-loaded and 3 extra rolls to keep you going! You also get a lanyard and felt tips pens if your child wants to add some of their own colour to the prints. It’s easily charged using the included USB-C cable and this is a fantastic package for a kid to use to have fun with their first camera. Overall, I’m really happy with this camera. It’s great fun to take a picture and see it printed out immediately and all the extra features make this device really good to play with. The addition of 4 rolls of paper and a 32GB card seems very generous and just adds to what is already an incredibly good value camera set.

Just so you know, I review products for Amazon, so I did not pay for this item. Having received it, here's what I thought: The camera arrived neatly packaged. The box includes the camera body with 1 roll of paper installed, 3 additional rolls of paper, a pack of pens and a charging cable. The camera had some charge in it on arrival. The quality of the picture is below what you want from a proper camera, but it is adequate for a child’s camera. The screen has colour, but the instant print photos only print in greyscale. The camera has multiple functions, including taking still images, videos and gaming options. There are many fun edits that you can do in camera and with the pens included. The printing function worked well, and the quality of the image was a pleasant surprise. This camera charged well.

Our 11yo daughter already has an iPhone and an iPad but she likes things like this and I though it might be a bit of fun. She's a bit old for it really, 6-9 is probably the sweet-spot but she loves it and we've had a lot of fun with it too. It is quite astonishing value for money - a digital camera with a colour screen, a 32GB memory card and a printer! Remarkable. Pros: - Decent build quality - the plastic won't completely shatter if it's dropped but I wouldn't recommend testing it. - Generous size memory card included (capacity for over 20,000 photos) - Generous amount of paper that's also widely and cheaply available (57x25mm) - Fun effects - Surprisingly good quality prints in greyscale mode - Decent quality photos if subject is well lit and not too close - Dual camera for selfies Cons: - Dodgy charge indicator - red at first, then occasional flickering between red and blue, sometimes solid blue then back to red. The charging animation on the screen never seems to end so you can't be sure when you've reached 100%. - "flash" isn't very bright - Jerky video at 1080p In camera mode it will either print photos or save them to the memory - not both. You can take a photo to the memory card and then print it but if you took the photo with printing turned on you can't then go into the gallery and print another copy as it won't be there. Do also bear in mind that thermal prints fade with time. At the end of the day it's a bit of fun and not something anyone will use to capture memories to keep for all time. If your child isn't old enough for a phone or tablet or you don't want to get them one yet, this is a superb alternative with lots of different features to keep them entertained and introduce them to the world of photography.

This product was sent to me for review as part of the Amazon Vine program. The following reflects my real-world experience using it. I requested it because I have a child who loves playing with cameras like this one, and they liked this particular design. It is a good-quality camera with a robust, sleek build and thoughtful safety measures - the 'teeth' used to tear each picture off the paper roll are well-hidden inside the device. It also comes with a generous amount of paper, which should provide hundreds of photos. There is virtually no setup required, so a child could play with it as soon as it is switched on. The interface is user-friendly and easy to navigate, and it also contains some bonus photo quality settings for the more advanced photographer. I would say that the photo quality is about as good as it can be for one of these cameras, and printing takes very little time. When the photo-taking fun is finished, a music and game player adds an extra layer of enjoyment (although you'll need to add music to the included memory card, first). Thus far, my child has enjoyed playing with it, and we have found that the battery seems to last well (charging is also convenient using the included USB-C cable). In summary, a good value item.

I am always on the lookout for new fun things to try that will engage my 9 yr old son while giving us quality time together and good memories. Anything from STEM based toys to arts and crafts, the sky is the limit for us. In the past I have bought him digital cameras, microscopes, thermal photo printers, sticker maker, etc. but this was the first time I bought him a camera that instantly prints photos. I ordered the pink (he doesn’t love pink but there were only two options and both aren’t his favorite colors so I just picked my favorite lol.) It is absolutely adorable in person and the perfect size for his hands. I am a petite adult and I had no issue using it either. There are SO many positives about this camera: - rechargeable via USB-C - thermal printing is instant and never requires ink - images are dry - tearing the photos off is super easy thanks to the inset blade below - the printed images are better than I expected for a children’s camera and a thermal printer - the viewing screen is large and the menus are easy to navigate - once charged it can be used instantly with no prerequisite set-up unless you want to change the defaults (click n play) - there are visual effects that can be used (see second photo where we spliced our faces together lol.) - a funny and cute set of “stickers” can be overlaid on to your image and it will print with it. - it has a selfie mode which I did not expect but I love because I keep finding selfies of my son making goofy faces around the house lol - there is a white border on each side that you can use to write on or trim off - a set of markers is provided to color in the photos or add comments if you should choose - three extra rolls of thermal paper are included - an adorable lanyard with cute unicorns is included and I may or may not have snagged it for myself - in addition to taking photos you can opt to take videos, play the onboarded games, music etc. - the settings and buttons are largely intuitive and easy for small fingers to use - the instructions are clear and easy to follow - changing the paper is super easy and straight forward; no issues with sticking or jamming at all I didn’t even have the box open before my son was asking to try it. It ended up being so much fun and was great quality time together as we went around the house trying out different items to photograph with various settings. We were laughing hard when we were using the stickers and the visual effects were cool. I used this to take a photo of my sons favorite stuffies (his turtle and puppy; second photo) and add some color with the markers then sneak it into his lunch kit when he was having a rough morning before school. When he came home he said he loved it. I have left the camera out around the house and it has been such a joy and really interesting to see my son randomly grab it and go take pictures. Later I will come across pictures he took and I am awed by his creativity and also had some good laughs at his selfies. This camera ended up exceeding my expectations 100% and we absolutely love it. I haven’t checked to see if it is difficult to order more thermal paper that is compatible but it looks similar in size to the rolls I use for my thermal label makers so as long as the sizing is the same as the industry standard for thermal printing rolls then it shouldn’t be an issue. I am planning to see if I can find a sticker thermal paper that will fit this so we can print sticker photos and take it to the next level and decorate his lunch kit. I 100% would recommend this camera and I am so glad I ordered it. A+++ item
