Great read and does a phenomenal job distilling not just the big personal finance subject areas (I.e. investing) that can often be confusing, but breaks down micro topics (I.e savings/checking accounts or asking for a raise) and supplements with a to do list that is easy to follow and action against.Probably the best book, least snobby, and easy to understand financial book I’ve read. Definitely well tailored for an audience that may not have had exposure to financial literacy or guidance and is that much more helpful because of it - don’t hesitate to purchase, it’ll instill confidence in you do get on track 🙏🏾

Funny, bold, and so helpful through and through. Vivian lives up to her name as Your Rich BFF as it feels she is directly speaking to you to get up off your ass, invest your money, and save the rest in that high yield savings account. Great book!

Good book! I was never into finance but Vivian the author does a great job or breaking things down to be digestible

I think it’s a really well written book and it’s comprehensive, but as someone who already puts most of their paychecks in savings and has an investment property I thought the information was for beginners and light on value (for me). Like if I was in my 20’s I would’ve appreciated the wisdom but as I’m encroaching on my 40’s I feel like I have most of the information in the book in broad strokes. Plus things like saving money in ATM fees is really not as life changing as let’s say… how to invest in real estate in the right market or something more meaningful.

I bought it as a gift for a coworker. She loves it. She couldn’t wait to tell me about it so if it’s some thing that a person request as a gift get it for them it’ll make them very happy.

What a fantastic resource! This is THE BOOK I was looking for when I was starting my finance journey in my early 20s, it would have saved me so much time! Absolutely reliable and honest with a uniquely fun voice, this book is an engaging read. I highly recommend it! This would be a great gift and investment to get for the young people in your life just starting out, as well as your friend that’s interested in finance but is hesitant to start learning.
