Das Poster ist sehr aufschlussreich. Auch ziemlich groß. Ich habe es an die Wand gehängt mit einer Plexiglasscheibe darüber. Kaufempfehlung.

The spectrum is often expressed as wavenumbers, especially in spectroscopy. Wave numbers are the recipricol of wavelength, and has units cm (power-1 ). That's why they're the peaks are also called troughs. Expected peaks are 3300 cm (power -1) and 1450 as same units, One being a hydroxyl alcohol group, the other a benzene ring. I can't remember which is which.
