Holds a lot of weight.
This is a well built extension. I am using it for my very heavy Canon xa50 camcorder. Not the best camera to use in video demonstrations because it is so heavy. The extension works quite well with it as long as I use a counter weight.

Solid piece of gear!
This works well with tripods etc. It has a nice extension and easy to use. It is stable but depends on what you are connecting it to.

One Annoying Bit
I purchased this for my videography. I film in my shop while I'm making things, and I like to be able to get up over the equipment and get right up close to the work. This thing works perfectly for that. I'd been using another brand of boom, that was really not designed to be a boom. It's design was to act as a sort of table to attach a camera to one side, and a monitor or table top tot he other. While it worked pretty good after a few little mods, it was still a fiddly. This item is designed for exactly my purpose. Adjustments are very easy, and it seem pretty stable. Only time will tell if it holds up to any sort of abuse, but I feel it will. I like that this is capable of extending and retracting reach. The parts are all very smooth, and very easy to snug everything down so there's no movement. it comes with a few extras that I most likely won't be using, such as a phone holder and am adjustable swivel arm. The attachment points for the swivel arm will be a perfect place to attach a monitor, or microphone arm. Here's my only issue with this boom arm. On the head that attaches to the tripod, the main center screw that's the pivot point, the hole the screw goes through is slightly larger than the screw, so when you tighten everything down there's a small shift. It's not a huge issue, but if for some reason that decides to shift while filming...well...there could potentially be a big issue. I'm still happy enough with it to keep it and continue using it. Overall, its a great unit, and you shouldn't be worried about purchasing it.

Awesome
I absolutely love this tripod arm. It has a nice weight to it and holds my equipment pretty well. The arm works nicely with the tripod i already have which is a total plus. Not to mention. I have had this item for months. It's great for filming content and taking pictures. I alos love the fact that the arm can extend and lock in place.

Just what I needed
I’ve used this a couple of times and I think this should work well for my upcoming projects, I have a small 12 inch tripod extension that I can attach for extra length

Sturdy and well made.
Very helpful with my tripod to mount my Artograph projector so I can project images down on to my table. I also mount a monopod to my tripod then the extension for more vertical reach.

Quality, Limited Reach
This tripod mount arm has a good build quality. It was however not clear that the arm has a fixed mounting point to the tripod and the front arm and back arms are independently extendable. This makes the front arm length to be only 6.0 - 20.5 inches, and the back 12.5 - 20.5 inches. With this limitation, you'd have to keep the tripod very close to where it's needed. I've kept it beside or behind the piano bench for remote piano lessons, and this gets in the way. It would be great to offer extension rods as part of the product or for Amazon to have suggested product recommendations of extension poles to add to the order.
