I needed a USB-C pass-through terminal for use in a portable video production unit I built where a MacBook needed to be connected to the video switcher for control. This saved me from having to reach into the back of the rack and try to find the USB-C port on the Blackmagic Constellation video switcher.The connections on both sides of the pass-through were snug and my MacBook immediately connected with the switcher.I did eliminate the silicone seal and cap to make it easier to secure to the rack. The two pass-throughs came with screws and nuts, but the nuts were very difficult to get started on the screws with the silicone cap and seal. The unit won’t be used outside, so not a big deal to leave off.Overall I’m very happy with how well this worked for me!

Exactly what I was looking for, water proof and quality.

Absolute garbage. These failed within a month of installation and will need to be replaced. Seeing as replacement will require major disassembly of my project, I’ll avoid give these a second chance…

I’m having issues with these intermittently working. I’ve ran configs from a data and power source from both directions, and while it does work it is intermittent. So far about 60/40 or 70/30 working versus not.

Either I received a 2 pack of faulty products or these do not allow power to pass-thru the bulkhead.

No data ! This thing sucks!

One of these worked perfectly, the other one broke into 3 parts as I picked it up.
