Box set containing four films starring Tom Cruise. In 'All the Right Moves' (1985), Cruise plays a high school football star in a depressed Pennsylvania steel town. His only hope is a football scholarship to university, but the constant pressure to perform, and conflicts with his abrasive coach (Craig T. Nelson), put his dream at risk. 'Legend' (1985) is a fantasy adventure set in a mythical, timeless forest filled with pixies, goblins and other fairytale creatures. The Lord of Darkness (Tim Curry) has come up with a plan to steal the horns of the forest's two remaining unicorns and to thereby block out the sunlight forever. The one person standing between him and the fulfilment of his diabolical desire is the peasant boy Jack (Tom Cruise), an unlikely hero whose girlfriend, Princess Lili (Mia Sara), the Lord of Darkness now has under his control. Jack embarks on a quest to save his true love and prevent the forest being lost in an eternal night; and to make sure he succeeds, he gathers many of his elf and goblin friends to help out. 'Taps' (1981) is set in a boys' military school. When the college is threatened with closure, the young cadets (including Cruise) must barricade themselves in, declaring a state of siege in an attempt to save it. Finally, in 'Minority Report' (2002), Cruise stars as a cop pursued by his own colleagues in a Steven Spielberg-directed adaptation of the short story by sci-fi writer Philip K. Dick. John Anderton (Cruise) works for the Pre-Crime Division of the Washington DC police force, a special unit which acts on information obtained from mutants with pre-cognitive abilities in order to prevent murders before they have been committed. When the mutants have visions of a murder carried out by Anderton himself, the cop goes on the run and attempts to prove his own future-innocence. But no matter how hard he tries, Anderton cannot stay hidden from the city's advanced surveillance systems for long.
