Great gun, could do with more precise thermal control.
Yes, It was exactly as described - didn't burn my house down or blow up in my face. Only thing to mention is there are just 2 heat settings, from what my equipment says these are 312 celcius, and 693 celcius. Not a major issue, but don't expect precise heat from this.

all the attachments are really loose and fall of on high but as a heat gun it works fine
