Will not work for recording
After I received it and tried to hook it up I found that is not suitable for recording from mixer to PC. So folks save your money you need a for real sound card that does USB.

Cable for connecting to audio
I liked that it works for my needs. Using my ipad connected to Apple camera adapter I have the lighting output of the adapter connected for charging and the usb output connected to the back of my synth/keyboard with this cable. The reason I don't give 5 stars is because I won't know how durable this product is, it doesn't look that strong, so time will tell.

It gets clean audio out of the computer without much fuss.
Works as described; This cable maintains high-quality audio from my Chromebook to my mixer without having to stress the 3.5mm headphone/microphone jack. Why not 5 stars you ask? I had some issues with Plug and Play recognition. A Restart seems to have resolved that issue. BTW; I push my electronics to their limits!

Significant static/hum over the line
The unit worked, it showed up as a USB audio interface in Windows, but when I plugged the leads into my mixer, it had a substantial amount of static/hum to the mix. I was hoping to remove on of my older audio interfaces that has become less reliable, but the audio quality of this item is not usable for any audio work. The built in DAC is just not good
