I hate leaving on outside lights all night, so these fit the bill. I use them inside on the first basement light.Quite happy.

We use them in all our closets so that when we open the door the light comes on and when we leave the light goes out after a few seconds. Also we replaced our front and rear porch lights so they automatically come on when anyone stands under them. We never knew that these amazing bulbs existed but are glad we have found them.

Put these in the outdoor porch lights and am very pleased. In retrospect I should have gotten a softer light but these do the job and the sensor catches EVERYTHING- car, person, twig in the two trees in the front yard. But we can now leave the porch light in the ON position and not worry about getting home late.

These work exactly like they should. I haven’t experienced any trouble with the PIR motion sensor. These can be put in a vertical or horizontal light socket, but can’t have glass covers or be enclosed. They worked best for me when they are in a vertical light socket with the PIR facing down. The level of brightness is decent. These are on par in regard to price (per bulb). I like that they are energy efficient. I’m happy with the product.

The idea for this bulb is great, go on from a distance by detecting movement. While this bulb will activate, it only does so from a very close distance, not the distance mentioned in the description. The amount of light is as stated, which is to replace a 60 watt bulb. It would be much better if it actually detected movement and activated from a greater distance as claimed. Good idea, but only OK execution.

Works good so far

These lights work, and then they don't. We bought 6 of them, all will quickly detect movement and then suddenly they don't and you can't get the light to come on. So far 5 of the 6 we bought became stuck on off. I have to get on the ladder, climb up there and unscrew them and most times they come back on, sometimes not even then. Not worth the hassle.

Been a week and it works as expected. One of the light, I feel like the sensor is not as sensitive as the other one. But not a show stopper for my usage so it's all good.

I wanted something that would turn on when someone entered my area as I park a mobility scooter outside. It lets me know when someone is close and I can get up and check what is going on. It is nice and bright. If it is off and I open my door beside it then it comes on. My only complaint is when I am getting a delivery order I can't turn it on and keep it on so they can see my unit number.
