Good stuff
It is not as good as buying it fresh roasted from back home but it is good. The beş place to find it in the US used to be NY and North Jersey and it was basically the same quality as this one, which makes ithis one an amazing deal ilor find.Especially compared to not having at all, as most US cities and state don’t have it at all. . At the end of the day, It is great to be able to find and buy it and with a decent price. Thank you Amazon and GoNuts for making it possible to buy and delivered like any other item.I am really greatful that I am able to buy it and enjoy it without breaking the bank.Turkish pistachios were and will be an expensive item as it is not grown as much and available like the California ones.By the way I suggest not to compare them as they are the same thing or the same version of nuts. These nuts are smaller in size and have a unique taste that doesn’t even compare to the California ones. Treat it like the pistachio you know but expect a flavor less dominant and more versatile nut and you will enjoy it more.. it is the most especial ingredient for a lot of Turkish desserts. Baklava, Burma and other pastries are the most expensive if they are made with these pistachios.I really don’t like ilti talk about back home because of the commentary that comes with it but I can talk about Şam Fıstığı for hours and enjoy every moment of it. 😊The bag comes with 20% all closed up shells, and the rest is not guaranteed to be easily opened either. This one is a good deal as far as the price and quality of product goes but not the best off courses you can always find better if you dedicate yourself 😁It is my lifetime mission to find the best crops of this pistachios. Reason being that not only I love it, I couldn’t afford it growing up. I used to have 100 grams of it as my New Year’s gift from whoever picked me to buy a gift to exchange.

No, no, no
These pistachios are the smallest I have ever seen. I wouldn't mind that so muxh if they tasted good and had a pleasing texture. But there again, no, and no again. They are over-roasted [read: burned].To summarize; that's a triple fail. I don't recommend these nuts. That said, their other nuts have been great.

I finally found a great turkish nut with great flavor and is easy to ...
After trying Greek & Turkish pistachios some 15 years ago, the US nuts just do not interest me anymore. I finally found a great turkish nut with great flavor and is easy to get. Purchasing through Amazaon has been easy, quick and fast. The bag is full to the brim and arrives in 2 days (I am a prime member). My only criticism is that I would like more salt on them. There are many nuts that do not seem to have any salt. But I still love the flavor...9/3/17 I purchased them for over a year, but this past year, the quality is not consistent. While all the bags came fresh and salted this past year I have received 4 bags with NO salt and a very bland taste. I received a refund and purchased another bag which was good one time. So then I tried it again... but was again disappointed. I have given up purchasing because they are too expensive to get a bag and be so disappointed. When they are good, you can't stop eating them. When they are bad, the bag lasts forever and gets old.Now I am just very disappointed...

Mostly Very Good, One Bad Batch Among Several, Vendor Sent a Replacement.
I've been ordering pistachios from WeGotNuts for the last 6-7 years and have found the quality consistent enough to recommend to others and to send a bag to friends or family with confidence.I have read the complaints from some reviews about size, color, and ease of opening. The description of the product on the website covers the difference between Turkish and California varieties. Turkish nuts are smaller, darker, and less open than the ones from California. The difference is the flavor content and texture of the Turkish nut. Richer in taste and creamier in texture, Turkish wins in my book.Having mentioned consistency, I'll bring up the one less-than-optimal experience with an order. I received my normal 2 1/2 pound bag and dug in. The nuts were, as others have said, over roasted. The skins were falling off and the salt was gone. I tried powering through the bag but it never got better.I contacted WeGotNuts customer service via email. I gave them the lot numbers and production dates of the good and bad batches for their own edification and made sure to tell them this was the only time the product was subpar. They responded by sending a fresh bag and were most gracious in the process. It's not always easy to reach the actual vendor when purchasing through Amazon, but in this case it is, and they are responsive.

Quality issues
I had subscription to this for years but the last two order quality is not good. The previous one had very small pistachios and the last one tastes terrible. It is not even edible. I am throwing it away and canceling the subscription. Unfortunately also wasting money since it is not returnable.
