These are a bit flimsier than a similar batch of generic store brand picks they replaced, but they still get the job done — way better than a standard toothpick.

These are made of hard plastic. I am concerned that using the ‘bristle’ end between my teeth may be scratching the teeth enamel. I very much liked the packaged containers, but am throwing out the 900 picks I bought. I cannot take the chance of damaging my teeth. I will buy a more expensive pick which is a pliable plastic.

Not bad necessarily but I think the heads need to be a little stiffer. It's really hard to apply pressure without making the straight end bend or slip. They aren't stiff but they sure are pretty sharp so if they slip from the tooth surface they sometimes jab my gums 😖. They remind me a lot of "Clinere" ear cleaners. They use the same really soft plastic as these do. As for the spiny end, it feels like a saw to the gums if it slips. A gentle saw but still a saw... I don't recommend using that end for anything really. It's not soft enough to massage but not hard enough to actually cut in when it hits the gums. This is a crude comparison but it's the best I can think of which is BDSM but for oral healthcare products. The pointed end is good enough for basic cleaning and clearing so works for basically every kind of debris you may need to clean but something REALLY stuck it wont cut it. Like if you Chewed up a Hard Candy or bit down on a Tootsie Pop for example. Or maybe the worst of all which is original Jolly Ranchers AKA the rolled hard candy about the size of a bite size tootsie roll single...It's pure horror trying to unlodge those things regardless but with these kind it's not even feasible to bother trying. It won't break off easy but it also won't serve any purpose there beyond light cleanup like ordinary food debris. The size is good it's not too small which is nice but also not ridiculously long.I also like the container since it has a resealable lid. I just open it up by pulling up then press it down again. It's locked every time so far, hopefully that lasts...*Fingers Crossed*🤞
