Perfect tablet for kids
Brilliant for my 11 year old. We usually have ipads and my child is autistic and broke many ipads even with the toughened case on. This was a great alternative and love the case and the amazon kids which includes audible stories perfect for bedtime where we pair up with Bluetooth kids headband (sold separately) so far this tablet has latest longer than the iPad and alot cheaper

Fantastic Fire!
The media could not be loaded. We got this tablet for my daughter in prime day, which had an excellent offer. Having now used it for a few days I would happily pay full price it is that good! It’s exactly what a kids tablet should be, it is bright and colourful and a really big screen which makes it easy for my daughter to use and understand (it’s her first tablet.) The suggested apps and content is all child friendly and very varied giving lots of choice and are great and really fun to use. The added benefit of the parental controls really give me confidence to build good habits with my daughter so she is not reliant upon it. The battery life is excellent and last ages, we haven’t need to charge it much at all. The performance is fantastic, the screen is so quick to respond and never misses a finger press. The case it came with it brilliant as it’s slightly soft to hold and touch but all nice and colourful and has a handle which pulls out but also doubles up as a stand in other portrait or landscape modes, genius!I can see us enjoying this tablet for years to come, yet another fantastic product from Amazon yet again.

Easy setup great for young children
The tablets are really good for young children it has alot for them to go on with it having a year free of amazon kids subscription easy for them navigate around the menus just need to make sure you put a password on to stop them buying apps without your authorisation. Connect to the WiFi straight away and recognise your account with amazon so easy setup. the case is sturdy as my 4 year old has dropped it a couple times.And if there is a cases where the protective case does not do the job amazon will replace it within the warranty time no issues as I had to do this with my 6 year old one

Great kids tablet
This tablets great, good battery life, good kids features, the peace of mind to get it repaired/replaced if they break it is also great an the case is sturdy.The parent dashboard is ok, gives you good control, however I have had a few disasters where i accidentally removed a profile completely, trying to remove it from a specific tablet.It's also near impossible to transfer Minecraft worlds between tablets which has been the bane of my life when they've got a new one. You cant access the files on the kids profile (i work in IT and have found it next to impossible) the only way I found is to use a realms paid subscription, which i think is crazy for a game in 2024, how it doesn't allow cloud backup of your worlds is insane. The other thing I wasn't happy was the tablets handling of DNS records, we use CleanBrowsing.org to protect the children and block adult sites, the issue with the tablets is that if it cant find the website it wants on the DNS you specify, it is hardcoded to check googles dns 8.8.8.8 which finds the site and serves it to the tablet. This is a pretty fundamental security risk and amazon told me its a "feature", well it's a feature that's not possible to override or turn off, so it means I cant have the children using the inbuilt web browser. Why they remove DNS control from you, I don't know.It loses a star for the above issues, but other than that it's a great tablet at a competitive price.

Great upgrade
We love the Amazon fire device for our little one and the year decided to upgrade her from the 7 to the 10. The screen is better quality, doesn't freeze or buff. The sound quality is great even at low levels. Easy to use and we opted to sync with our account making the set up fast. WiFi is never an issue and even connect to hotspot quickly

Love these kindle fires for kids
My daughter loves her kindles and we’ve had these for years. Upgraded to this one for her with a better battery life, memory and quicker play. They last so well and amazon are great at help and support if they break (my daughter is autistic/nonverbal and so can be prone to dropping or throwing as she doesn’t understand). The case they come in are very sturdy and easy to clean. We brought a screen protector separately. There’s Lots of useful apps for her and she enjoys watching videos. You can’t get as many apps as Apple or Google but this is just enough for her needs with plenty of educational games and iplayer or prime to watch videos. Good to keep her entertained but there is No YouTube. Battery life is pretty good but could be better. Got a good deal on a prime day

Brilliant tablet, everything you could want for a kids tablet, large screen, lots of storage and plenty of apps! Highly recommend for children all ages
