The price is right!
So, I decided after years of reviews to go with a Uni Jetstream multi-color. All the Jetstream pens use the same refills, so the ink to the page is going to be the same across models. The difference will be the feel of the pen your hand. I bought 3 versions - the 4+1 Prime, the (metal edition of the) 3-in-1, and this, the cheap plastic multipen. You clearly get what you pay for. The 4+1 prime is a REALLY nice pen. It's also the most expensive. The 3-in-1 metal (the older 2024 version) is nice, but it's not the same materials as the prime, and you can feel the difference. it's a nice pen, but not as nice as the high-end prime. Note that the current version is mostly plastic, so know which one you're buying. This multipen is a commodity pen. All plastic. Works fine at the price point. Remember, it's using the same ink cartridges, so the only difference is how the pen itself looks and feels. Writes on paper the same. Feels very cheap in the hand - no weight or balance. This is not necessarily a bad thing. If I lost it, I wouldn't care at all. And, if you can find it on deal, it may be cheaper than the price of the refills for the more expensive ones. If you're looking at the different options, I hope this is helpful!

amazing pen all around!!
These pens are extremely versatile. The three color way makes it the all-around pen without having to bring three pens at once. Ink Thickness: The 0.5mm is the best thickness in my opinion (I normally like fine point pens for better precision for note taking). My ideal pen thickness is 0.4mm because 0.38mm is too thin. When the pen is super thin, it is highly susceptible to skipping and you have to write slowly to ensure the ink transfers onto the paper. Ink: Uni Jetstream is a ballpoint pen, not a gel ink pen. As a result, the pens are obviously not as “inky” or bold as gel pens usually are. However, ballpoint pens have their advantage in that the ink last much longer and typically dries a lot faster (especially for left-handed writers). Ergonomic: The “Slim” version of Uni Jetstream 3 has a thinner body than the regular Jetstream 3. However, the Slim version does not have grip and it does start to hurt your hand after writing for a while. The pen is very lightweight and does not have a heavy “body”. You definitely have to put more pressure on the pen to hold it still. If you need a sturdy and weight-forward pen, the Pilot Center of Gravity pens are amazing for ergonomic usage. Grip: The grip on the pen is very comfortable. It will definitely hold up during long note-taking sessions without making your hand hurt. Quality: The body of the pens are made of plastic and definitely not the most sturdy. However, for the price, the pens is a great value.

Great pen for left-handers!
If you are left-handed, this is the pen for you! It doesn’t get stuck and it writes smoothly. No scribbling to get the ink back! I’m left-handed, I love it, and I’m buying more!

3-in-1 slick and truly ballpoint pen
I bought a different color (white) of this same pen from a different seller (it came with ink refills too), and I love the way this writes--a ballpoint pen (not gel) that writes smoothly and finely. My only complaint is that at least one out of the four that I bought had leakage issues.

Best pen award
The perfect planner pen does exist, and it is this. This pen is ultra fine tip, and a little sturdier compared to other clicky pens. It writes like a swan gliding across the water for crying out loud. My kids steal it, and it still survives. 10/10 for durability and will to live. Buy all the Uni pens, and might find yourself writing just to admire your pretty handwriting.

Nice Multi-Tool
Smooth. Three colors is enough. Who needs green? Makes for a thinner pen.

Highly recommend
Smooth writing for such a fine point. Color choices are easy to select and retract. Overall barrel thickness is not too big; barely larger than some single pens.

Uneven levels of ink in different colors but good fine point
For some reason my Blue ink was only half full. I ran out of blue ink after writing about 20 pages, black and red still more than half full. True sharp, fine tip pen that writes well (assuming all ink is at the same level when you receive it). I like that it has a hook, I attach it to my book covers on or my jacket pockets when I am running around so that it doesn't budge.
