I have been using this on an old stereo now for about 6 months in order to have Bluetooth connectivity. It have worked pretty well so far. Only a few times I have had connection issues but it is always easy to remedy. Just unplugged it from power then back in and it seems to fix the issue. Great connector if you want to connect to older devices and stream music from your phone.

Upgraded my flat screen only to find my TV doesn't have an audio out, so this allows me to use my previous audio system with the new TV.

The unit functioned fine, but it turns itself off when not being used, so you have to turn it back on every time you want to use it.

I had some old house speakers that I didn't want to just throw out. I figured there had to be a way to make them bluetooth speakers. This thing did the trick. I had to modify a red/yellow/white AV cord to plug into the old style speaker wire jacks, but it worked. Not as loud as hooking them up to a stereo but it worked surprisingly well! Really ewasy to set up and the sound quality was pretty good.

Returned item. It added 60 cycle hum to speaker when none was present using cables.

I have a component Stereo. The mega disc 300 broke. No Christmas music. I ripped 175 disc’s, grabbed my old Samsung S4 phone and poof, I have a better solution than a $600 disc changer.For $10.00. That is all it cost.The unit is simple with no frills. Bluetooth hooks right up. SD and TF work great but sub directories does not find music files and the random feature does not exist.For the price, it is great.
