Sori Yanagi Stainless Steel Tongs

Perfect weight and balance. Lovely to look at. Delightful to hold. Matches my Yanagi flatware

Definitely made in Japan (it's etched on the tongs). I use mine to cook steak in the kitchen mostly. The same tongs with teeth might be better, but I think these are the best tongs I have for it right now. The simple no-hinge design really helps to keep them clean. The metal is nice and heavy - not flimsy.

Use this a lot while cooking. Love it!! I would buy another one.

These are just beautiful tongs. If you plan to pick up something extremely thin, the part that touches is at the top edge. It might be most useful if they met along the front or lower edge. They are extremely aesthetically pleasing.

水分の多いものをつかんで、ちょっと上向きにすると内側が樋（とい）状になっているので、手の方にどっと流れてきます。熱いパスタなどをつかむときは注意してください、火傷しますよ。縦に持つのがコツです。最初はデザインだけの代物かと思いましたが、案外掴みやすいところは評価します。

とにかく使いやすくて良いです。また、ステンレスなので熱で溶ける心配もなく使えるのが個人的にありがたいですね。トングの先っぽによくあるギザギザが無くて汚れが溜まりにくく洗いやすくて良いです！
