Performance is good. The battery capacity is low, so it needs to be charged separately.

Make sure you purchase the correct batteries and tools
Just used it Monday. I should have bought the unit with the batteries and charger. I purchased the wrong size and then had to return them and get the correct ones. Also watch out. This has the new Starlock system and is not compatible with older designs, although I just saw some conversion tooling on Amazon a week ago. I am glad I was able to use it and it worked like a charm for me. I had an older plug in model but someone borrowed it without my permission and I spent several relentless days looking for it before I realized it was gone. Aside from my foolish purchase of the wrong batteries, charger and tools once I had every thing correct the job was very easy to complete and it looks professionally done.

I wanted the best multi tool, and more often than not, that means buying the original. For many years at my job I used to have access to a Fein Multi tool, and it was really excellent. I decided the time had come for me to buy my own.
