Dickies Men's Premium Insulated Duck Coverall

This review is for the Black, size Large Regular. My biggest concern when ordering was the lack of information regarding sizing—see below for specifics and suggestions. Luckily, I ordered the correct size for my body. I’ve worn them a few times, and really like them so far. First, the quality is very high, very well made throughout, the zippers excellent, and so forth. No issues with quality. Second, the lining makes them warm, but the adjustable two-way zippers along the front (neck to crotch) and side of the legs (hip to ankle) can be opened such as to provide ventilation (you’ll probably want to be wearing something underneath). Also, the leg zipper allows access to pant pockets and the front zipper to go to the bathroom without removing the suit. The level of warmth can also be increased/decreased by adding or subtracting clothing underneath, such as thermals or just underwear. That said, I think these are best for fall/winter/early spring, depending on the intended activity. Very versatile overall, and can be worn in a variety of weather conditions. However, they are not waterproof. The ribbed cuffs at the wrists will keep the wind out. SIZING: My body measurements are ideal for size Large Regular, so the fit is NEAR PERFECT for me. I am 6’ tall, 200 lbs., 42” chest, 34-36” waist (in pants), 32” inseam (I wear a 34x32 pants). I have relatively broad shoulders, longish arms, and only a slight stomach. I’d say I’m somewhere between muscular and athletic on a good day. I washed and dried the coveralls, and they shrank only a little, but this made them fit even better. If you don’t dry them, then you will have more room, but this was a plus for me. If they are snug on you then do not dry them in the dryer. The only place they are not a “perfect fit” is the length of the legs, which are maybe a couple of inches too long, but that’s not a problem when wearing boots. The extra length can be tucked under if it’s a real problem. All this said, if you are little heavier, let’s say 200-220 lbs., or have more of a belly, or are just a little taller, 6’1, or more of a broad chest or shoulders than me, then these will still fit you well, though they may be a bit snugger in the crotch, waist, and shoulders/chest, depending. That said, going outside of these parameters any further may make them uncomfortable. Everyone’s body is going to be a little different. I would buy these again and I think they will last a long time. The sizing is the only bit of guess work, so I hope this helps you. If you’re bigger or smaller than me, then now at least you have an idea of your correct size.

This mens jumpsuit is very nice and warm and my son loves it! It does run large. I initially ordered a 2X because my son likes his clothes to fit loose but that swallowed him up and looked like he was wearing a tent, so I had to return and reorder it for a size down. The 1X was still a bit large but fit better. The zippers on the front are convenient and a nice touch. This turned out to be a great, warm Christmas gift for my son.

WARM, roomy, comfortable, easy to move-in (crawling, reaching, stepping, etc).

I have owned these suits from at least three major suppliers for more than 30 years. Some have fit better than others. Is my winter survival suit. My last one I've had maybe 8 years--is a Dickies Large Tall that is so threadbare with holes that I thought it time to get a new one. The legs on that one were always too long I step on and has the usual crotch drop. I'm old and shrinking but still 5'10" plus athletic skinny build no ass no gut broad shoulders. I wear these suits ice climbing so I expect to have to get one a little large for freedom of movement swinging an axe over my head. The disappointment with this one is it isj ust large all the way around with a clumsy fit. Seems like they are making them larger than they used too. This one is a Large Regular but is just as long and larger than my past large tall with worse crotch drop. Legs are looser too. Has a long zipper to waste now, but not the extra pass inside slots. I think I prefer the old style chest pockets that had a zipper on top. This one has side zipper pockets, but I am worried about things like my wallet keys or glasses falling out unless I remember to have to keep them zippered all the time. I don't have a sewing machine but at some point will cut the legs short and hand hem them. The zipper stops 2 inches above the bottom which makes it easier to cut off the extra two inches. I going to do my best to boil this one and try to shrink it if I can. They are exceptionally well made rugged warm and durable. I love coveralls if you can get them to fit because they are loose about you with a heat space that you can unzip readily to vent and not sweat under exertion hiking or climbing. Is cold in my house and I actually live in these suits most of the winter inside or out with sweats or long johns underneath. Is a nice suit--I just wish it could fit better. I think the Medium would have fit me better. I wearing my old one at the moment because worn out as it is it is way more comfortable.

This is a great item. This every bit as good a the other leading brands but at a better price.

Starting off with size. I’m 5’10 205lbs and I wear a 32x34 pant. I read that these run large so I went with the Medium Tall size. They are a little snug getting them over my shoulders I can fit in them wearing a hoodie but they have a stitched in strap around the waist to keep them tighter which makes them a little snug around my stomach. I would recommend if you are around similar size to me to size up to the large if possible. I like the insulation in these it really does keep me warm. They have nice zipper chest pockets to keep anything you carry safe along with a small flashlight or pen slot on the left arm which is a nice feature. The ankles have nice snaps to keep them tight around your boots or if you prefer unsnapped to let them hang loosely. Downfall to these is I dislike that the zippers all the way down from hip to feet on the sides are exposed there’s no fabric that covers them like on a carhartt

I bought Size Small. I'm 5'1". It was EXTREMELY TOO LONG. I gave to my nephew. I actually needed/NEED size XS Short. But,I can't find my size NOWHERE IN ANY OF DICKIES PLATFORMS that sell their products. NOT EVEN AT THEIR STORES in person or on line 😞. I loved Dickie for OVER 30 years and I wish I could ALSO find their Pink bibs or coveralls

el overall llego demasiado rapido, limpio , nuevo. es ligeramente amplio ., yo creo que es para ser usado arriba de la ropa que traes puesta. excelente. me encantó.! yo mido 1.65 hay que subir 10 centimetros de bastilla. viene muy exacto del abdomen., 100 centimetros de abdomen.

Fits well and very warm for a Manitoba -40 c kind of day.
