Q: Can you bypass the timer?

Q: I saw on another answer that you must have the tree plugged in for the timer to work. So the timer won't work using the batteries?

The timer does work using the batteries. Once you put the batteries in and pick the mode you want, it stays on for 6 hours and will continually start each day at that same time. I put my batteries in at 7 pm, selected the mode I wanted, and it automatically shuts off at 1 am.

Q: Is it possible to get the adapter to plug this into a wall socket? Will it work with an old Apple converter block?

Hello, it can't get the adapter to plug. It can work with and old Apple converter block.

Hello, It's on a 6 hr timer. For example if I turn my tree on at 5:00 it will turn off at 11:00 and it will turn on at the same time the next day but you have to leave it plugged in in order for that to happen.

Beautiful Led tree light adds a heartwarming touch

This is such a beautiful lighted accent piece for my house… Easy to put together and I love that it’s USB so I don’t have to use batteries and has a lot of awesome settings… Love it so much I’ll buy it again and give as gifts.

Very happy with this mini tree!

This was the perfect size for my table display, and the tree has ample number of branches, twigs and lights for my mini ornaments. Beautiful! Delivery was prompt. Overall 5 stars.

Almost perfect!

These really are quite beautiful. Since I have them plugged in via their USB cords (to a power strip with USB AC adapters), the timer works as indicated (6 hrs on, 18 hrs off). I stopped, then started them at 7pm, so they are on from 7pm - 1am. They look exactly as I pictured they would on our bedroom cabinet.I deducted a star for the following:- Cheap, lightweight base (I used Command Strips to hold them in place)- No remote control- As many reviewers already stated, you have to cycle through several modes to get to the standard, non-blinking or fading mode (the last one!). Makes no sense. But, once set, it remembers this setting when it comes on again via the timer.(disclaimer: using with batteries instead of AC is a different experience - I didn’t bother with batteries).
