I suffer with poor grip so to aid with my lifting weights and pull ups I purchased the hooks and boy dose it help. I’m glad I bought this for helping hanging by my arms for 2 minutes before I can attempt a pull-up, the grip support means the rest of my arms and upper body can also be training while building your grip.

Originally bought these to make it easier to use on rubber handled machines which they do as conventional straps require wrap and twist which is a nuisance, however the hooks sit in your fingers rather than deep in your palm and when weight gets heavier it becomes very uncomfortable and you can feel them slipping down no matter how tight you strap them so for these reasons I’m going say they are not very good and will be sticking with conventional or figure of 8 straps

Gear works as intended. Smaller users will need to wrap the straps pretty tightly around wrists for the gloves to grip as intended. The sensation when the gloves are supporting most of your weight takes some getting used to.
