Nice easy to see and use watch, Keeps good time.
Nice watch. Keeps very good time and the light is easy to use. It is a bit large, but is easy to read and shows the day and date in addition to the time. I bought this to replace a plastic watch which I unfortunately lost.

Great Retro-look Digital Watch at an Affordable Price
Great retro-look digital watch at an affordable price! Keeps excellent time. Is easy to read. The amber backlight is perfect for viewing the time in the dark. This is a better option for those looking for a nostalgic digital wristwatch who happen to have a larger wrist. The case is bigger than many others out there and the metal strap was easy to size comfortably on my 8.5 inch wrist. Another bonus is the watch's 50 meter water resistance rating. Most other retro digital watches out there are limited to only 30 meters of water resistance. I would love to see Casio do a full stainless steel case version of this watch (even if it added $50 to $60 to the price) as it would give it an even better appearance and add to its already sufficient durability.

Perfect for old guy with a diff band
The watch band is a joke. Good thing I have a spare. The display is different from other digital watches. I can actually read the digits clearly even at a very wide angle. It's also much sharper and less reflective. This is a perfect basic digital watch for old guy like me lol.

A nice daily “upgrade” from my Apple Watch when diamonds aren’t required
I just received this watch yesterday. Couldn’t be more user-friendly. I’m a girl, and all of a sudden one day I had a hankering for a change from my daily driver, my trusty Apple Watch, which I’ve been wearing the newest models since its inception in 2015. I do have a Michele with diamonds, but don’t want or feel the need to wear that daily. I also wanted an upscale feel on my wrist band-wise — can’t afford (or would spend money on) an AP but this has that “look and weight” if you pick up what I’m putting down. For 30 bucks, this brings me back to being present and in the moment while I’m out alone or with others. Easy to set up out of the box. I don’t think I’ll use the stopwatch or alarm functions, so I can’t speak to those — but I feel awesome rocking this bad boy! P.S. I was deciding between this one and the other one that lights up luminescent blue — this one looks weightier, is slightly larger height-wise and looks more upscale to me than the other with the more bracelet style band. I think it’s an A016 model or something similar to that. Check these reviews as there is a gentleman that compares the two side by side and that helped me choose this one.

This is the slightly bigger alternative to A168W. It's perfect!
I absolutely love the A168W. It's a classic, looks timeless, has a a good color scheme on the dial, great spacing on the fonts in and around the dial, a good bit of color to keep it interesting. But.. it's just a little small for my 7" wrist. I'd been looking around to see if there's a bigger alternative to this icon. That's when I read about the B650 (38mm wide) - same overall silhouette as the A168W (34mm wide), but slightly bigger. I was thrilled. I finally found a wearable alternative. The only difference is it doesn't have an EL backlight.. it uses a little LED on the left of the screen. It also uses a horizontal single link bracelet, instead of the triple link one like the A168W. I barely use the backlight, so I was ok with that, and this bracelet also looked old school, so I was happy either way. The B650 also comes with a resin strap, but that model is called W217. You can't go wrong with any Casio watch.. they all look great. But I think the B650 is the best big size alternative to the A168W.

Bracelet is uncomfortable
I'm a big Casio fan, I have 7 different models currently, all of them similar square design. This one is a bit of a disappointment. This style of bracelet is the least comfortable of any Casio I've tried. It just doesn't have the flexibility and movement that the other ones have. I also can't get a good fit on my wrist. It's either way too loose or just a little too snug. I also don't like the finish on the case. Watches like the 158WA, 168WA, and 178WA have more of a chrome finish, so even though it is a resin core, it still has that metal look. The matte finish on this just looks like plastic that's been painted silver, it doesn't achieve the goal of looking like metal while being light weight that the other watches have. The unfortunate thing is that this watch is by far the best shape and size for my 7.5 inch wrist as far as the look of the case. I also really like the larger size of the numbers. So, I really wanted to like it but after wearing it every day for two weeks it's just not comfortable.
